Let's get scientific for a minute.

In the early 20th century, Einstein gave us his famous equation

E = mc2

where E = energy, m=mass or weight and c= the speed of light.

This equation says that the Energy present in any physical object is equal to the weight of the object multiplied by the square of the speed of light.

For example, if a person's weight was 100 lbs., then the energy within him/her would be equal to his weight multiplied by twice the speed of light. This means that a person is 99.99 percent energy and less than 0.001 % physical matter. Therefore, in comparison to the energy held by any physical object, its weight or mass is always negligible. Hence we say that everything in the physical world which we call Matter is only a manifestation of energy. Even objects which appear solid and immoveable are actually nothing but different forms of energy which vibrate at different speeds.

While the Higher Soul has always been described as "Spirit" in its substance, it is now understood that even our physical bodies (or Matter) are manifestations of energy. And since we are all part of the Divine Light, our energy is mainly Light energy. So the next time you look around and see "Matter” see within it the glowing External Light energy which can never dim and never die.
