We all know that the nature of the Soul is what we call ‘spirit’ or ‘energy’. This soul is immortal and eternal. However, ‘physical matter’ is a temporary manifestation of energy and has a limited life span. Call it a drop in the ocean of eternity. Consequently, the physical world or the world of matter is not as important as the spiritual world which is unending. Therefore even though we live in physical world, it is unimportant when compared to the Immortal Soul whose eternal home is the spiritual world.

Having said that, let us understand that the physical temple houses the sacred soul, and thus must not be condemned and viewed with shame, disgust and aversion. If you find the temple ‘sinful’, how will you ever enter it, in order to reside in your soul? Be joyous about the beauty that is the physical body, and do not compare it with the temple of another, for your temple is ideally suited to your spirit, and could not be any other way.
