When there is a ‘boss’ outside of you, you resign. When the boss is within, you surrender. There is a joy in surrender; there is a sense of defeat in resignation. Many sit back and do nothing, because they say, "I have surrendered." But, if in that surrender, there is a sense of ‘loss’, of defeat, of regret, of sorrow, you know it is a resignation. ‘Surrender’ can bring only Joy. Because surrender comes only after you have held that broom well. Only then can surrender come. And such surrender is joyous. Because for the first time you acknowledge, ‘I am God. And I am His name.’ …Jade Fire
