What is Money?

Jade Fire:
What else should we talk of today but money? Your systems are collapsing. There is nothing which you can do which will make them recover. There is greater collapse coming; not even the tip of the iceberg has broken off yet. The collapse will continue till there is no iceberg left. And then it will not recover; it will re-structure.
You are all caught in the collapse and you must all play a part in the re-structure, so it is important for you to know: what is money?
Has the tree ever asked you for payment of its fruit? But the fruit seller does, when it’s not his fruit, in the first place. Has the wind ever asked you for payment of its coolness? But that who harvests wind will, when it is not his, in the first place. Have the rivers ever asked you for payment for use of their waters? But your economic systems do, when it’s not theirs, in the first place.
We are not using the words ‘in the first place’ as a cliché. That is the crux of the channeling: in the first place. Your systems of money have been built on charging fees for that which is not yours. This is like building a house that looks strong but is made of only sand. The universe wills that the only energy exchange you have a right to command is for what is yours, in the first place. The only thing that is yours in the first place is your energy. The fruit seller may rightfully demand the price for the energy of the effort made to collect the fruit and carry it to his shop and sit in it for the entire day in order to sell, but he cannot charge for the fruit itself, for it is an energy that belongs to the tree and not to the fruit seller.
Ah! Wait! We can hear your questions. Do not rush; we will answer them all.
Ask any fruit seller, “When you charge me Rs.100 a dozen, what are you charging me for?” And he will say, “For these luscious plums.” “But, my dear friend, the plums are not yours.” “Go away and leave me alone. I have work to do and plums to sell.” Beloveds, the fruit seller can still change the Rs.100, if his focus is on the fact that the energy he is expending that he is translating into being worth a Rs.100. The first collapse has been caused by the energies that are being charged for that which is not yours in the first place. This may seem as splitting hairs, but, in fact, the shift in this focus will be what can save the economic crisis from worsening.
The second point worthy of note is this: even when there is exchange for that which is yours in the first place, there is an inner awareness that the energy is worth Rs.100 but because the needs the plums so badly the exchange is hiked to Rs.500. Do not judge! Wait! We are not talking about the money here, we are talking of the inner awareness. All over your city, every day, you see sales and discounts. Are they giving you things away for free? Any businessman knows that in a 50% sale there is still a 100% profit. So when the item was sold at twice the cost, was the seller not aware of the imbalance in the energy charged and the energy expended?
These 2 pillars shall crash. They are the support structure of your financial systems all over the world. Both pillars are, at present, standing on legs that have already been shorn off. Very soon, they will collapse. The money that you hold, at present, will have no value. You may hold a crore, a million, a thousand or hundred. It will all be equal to nothing.
Wait before we proceed. Be aware of what you are emanating now. You are emanating ‘dread’. Instantly, you have converted our words into meaning: there will be poverty. We have not even used that word. Poverty does not exist anymore as a universal truth. How can we then use it? How can we say then that you will become poor?
What we have said, which we will repeat is that the paper you hold in your hands which you have given the term ‘money’ to, will have no value. When it has no value, it will make you ask a very pertinent question, “What have I spent my life on, amassing something that has no value?” Initially, this question may make you despondent, but somewhere in that collapse, you will see that there is another something you can now focus on.
The human mind is exquisitely beautiful. It almost instantaneously finds something else to focus upon. The human mind cannot stay without focus, so when there is no money to focus upon, it will instantly find another resource. And when there is no material resource to find and focus upon, it will focus upon the spiritual resource which is your energy.
It is in that moment that the new economic structure will start its process of re-building: when the focus of the beautiful human mind turns to spiritual resources. We ask you to remember that poverty is not a truth in universal terms at all. It does not exist as a universal concept. Having said that, we will now ask you: does this mean that with the collapse, utter collapse of the economic framework, there will be no poor people? In your human perspective, there will be millions; millions upon millions upon millions of the poor. But when all are poor, is there anyone who is ‘richer’ or ‘poorer’? You will have an economic structure of equality! But out of these millions upon millions of the so-called poor, there will arise those who will be rich.
Oh no! We do not differentiate, and your spiritual awareness is not going to suddenly make you have money while your neighbour has none. That is not richness. There will be those who will have already understood what money is. There will be those who will have already understood that money is an energy exchange for what belongs to you in the first place. If you, as a teacher, are being paid a salary, and your focus is on the energy that you expend on empowering the environment and the children and the people who work with you, then you have a right to that salary. But if you are drawing a salary for coming to work from 9.00 to 3.00, you have no right upon the salary paycheck that you take home at the end of the month.
Slowly but surely, this awareness will creep into humanity. When there is no money of any value, the fruit from the tree will become a treasure and not something to sell. The waters in the rivers will become life sources and not sources of power and wealth.
You must play a part in this re-structuring and you must start playing the part Now, in this moment. How will you do this? By instantly curtailing all fruitless and wasteful expenditure that panders to your ego, to your inner emptiness, to your inadequacies. Convert your money into what is tangibly of value, which comes from the earth. Even as you are robbing her without any second thought, the earth still opens up her bowels for you to stay secure with. She gives you her metals and her resources.
Whatever it is that you are doing or selling, now shift your focus to the energy that you are expending, in order to serve. The trader serves as much as a social worker, and the sweeper serves as much as the leading head of a business enterprise. What is the energy that is expended to serve? Each one, for themselves will, in their space of inner consciousness, give a monetary term to the energy (for you, at present, will still think in monetary terms).
The tree gives fruit. What does it get in return? Unless it gets something in return, it would not grow; it would die. It gets in return wind and water and air and sunshine and it gets in return the decayed fruits and leaves that become part of fertile soil. Thus, the tree, too, demands an energy exchange for the fruit it gives; and so shall you. You have a right to demand an energy exchange for whatever is yours in the first place.
The tree will not use more water than it needs, for it knows that if its roots are inundated by extra water it will die. But you demand more than the energy you have expended and thus, the economic system must die. The roots of your economic tree are flooded with water and the tree has become old and weak and must fall. And there is no gardener, human or spiritual, who can now save this tree. In fact, a skilled gardener knows: “this tree must fall and out of its decay, I can mix the soil and plant a new seed so that a more beautiful, stronger tree will come.”
Go home today and question: X amount is what I demand for my work. What am I demanding it for? Is it mine in the first place? Am I being honest about the energy exchange?
Do not be conditioned by what another thinks of the energy exchange. One might think: ‘too cheap!’ Another: ‘too expensive’. How can another pass a judgment about the energy that you are expending to serve and empower another? When they pass the judgment they pass it because their own energy is so limited. Only you will know: more or less?
If your answer today should come, “the energy I’m expending is far more that what I am getting in monetary terms”, ensure that you get a larger amount of money. And if you have been completely honest, that money that you will demand, you will receive. You will receive!
Remember: the only thing you have a right to demand an energy exchange for is for the energy that you expend.
Those who are successful and simultaneously, well-loved, in spite of their success (for your economic framework is also built on envy) are the ones who are expending their energies and charging their most accurate monetary figure for this. The new economic framework will demand a shift in your focus. It is no more based on ‘what I have to sell’; it is based on ‘what I have to give you from my beingness.’
The work will remain the same, the professions will remain the same, careers will remain the same and so-called material work will remain the same, but all will now have the focus of energy of service. In the energy of service, the tree does not ask: ‘who takes my fruit?’ It makes no judgment of the poor peasant who picks up the sweet fruit or the rich landowner who does the same. It serves and it gives because that is the only thing the tree knows to do. It does not give its fruit because it’s going to become rich. It already knows it is rich. It gets every resource that it requires; more than what it asks for. It already knows that it is rich.
You, on the other hand, already know that you are not, and because you already know that you are not, you think in terms of rupees and paise and dollars and cents and trying to make a buck here and save a buck there, feeling: ‘I am bigger than she is because I have made a buck out of her’ ‘I am better than he because I have more than he has, better than he has.’ You already believe that you are poor. No one needs to tell you that. No amount in the bank needs to tell you that.
The new economic structure will have money. Oh yes! Will have money! But the focus and the intent of money will not be to become rich because you will already BE that. The focus and intent of money will be to facilitate daily life transactions. And unless you make the shift now, how will you facilitate the re-structuring of a new economic system?
The first collapse of any system, as was in Atlantis eons ago, is its monetary system. It is the easiest to collapse. If the system and its collapse is not strong enough for you to shift your focus, the next system to collapse will be of necessities like food and water. Trees will suddenly stop giving foods, crops will not grow, food will decay, rain will not fall. Punishment? Not at all! Is this a certainty? Not at all! If you can shift your focus, your understanding of money and your awareness of it, and ensure that those around you change and shift with you, the collapse will be only of the economic system.
Atlantis did not learn with monetary collapse, did not shift with food collapse, did not evolve and change with complete and utter scientific collapse. There was no other collapse left except the collapse of the human structure. You can re-write the future history of your Earth. YOU; by understanding what is money.
When you buy something (now let us look at it from another perspective), when you pay money for something, what are you paying money for? The article? It doesn’t belong to you, how can you pay for it? You are paying in appreciation of the energy expended, you are paying in appreciation for the energy of consciousness that you receive from a person in your interaction. And sometimes you expect to receive this (holding out the arms very wide) but are small enough to want to pay only this (holding out the arms less wide). So on one side, is expectation of receipt that is huge and the willingness to pay that is miserly, and on the other side, is giving of energy that is limited and expectation of the energy coming to you, in terms of money, being as much as you possibly can get.
To end, let us answer this question: what is money? Money is a tangibly used means of exchange for the energy of service received and given. Service, not greed!
Re-write from today a new future of the Earth.
Greetings, Beloved Ones.
