It is now time to bring in a discussion of Universal Rays. We will make no technical discussion of the Rays for that information is available to you. But today we will focus on how these Rays constitute and become part of the composition of that aspect of strands which take on embodiment.
 
As soon as Soul has chosen the strands that are to be assimilated, the next step, so to speak, is to decide which Monadic essence would best be suited to lay the foundation for assimilation. For example: if the assimilation is of a strand which we can simply describe to you as vanity to humility, the Monadic essence for this kind of assimilation could be the essence of Divine Power. Thus that strand or strands, which have the underlying aspect of the Divine Essence of the Monadic Ray 1, would therefore be chosen to set the first stone in the creation of the body.
 
The Soul Ray strand is also chosen by the Soul itself. Monadic Ray strands cannot change in composition or essence or nature or function; they remain constant. If, when you pass over, parts of your strands remain unassimilated, each of those unassimilated strands will have interwoven within them, the Monadic Ray essence that you are currently born with. They will also have interwoven within them, the Soul Ray which you are currently born with. When these unassimilated strands are, so to speak, kept aside for a future date for assimilation, they will continue to have woven within them, the Monadic Ray and the Soul Ray that you are currently born with. The Soul is unable to make a choice, is not permitted to make the choice of changing the Monadic ray interwoven in the unassimilated strand. The Soul might choose, if it should so think appropriate, to change the Soul Ray strand.
 
But the Soul Ray strand has a specific purpose: just as the Monadic Ray lays the foundation stone of your very embodiment, the Soul Ray provides the vehicle through which assimilation would be most easily facilitated. Now depending upon all the strands chosen for assimilation, (all the strands, not only those that you might leave unassimilated in this incarnation, but depending upon all the strands chosen by the Soul, at a future date, to bring in your easy association with time), if the Soul now comprehends the need for another vehicle, which would facilitate assimilation even easier, depending upon the Soul Ray strands interwoven in all the strands chosen for assimilation, the Soul will decide to continue with the same Soul Ray or to choose another vehicle.
 
Let us make it very simple for you. We will choose these three (pointing to 3 sitters), as our examples. When each of these die, for example, let us say she has 40 strands unassimilated, she has 8 strands unassimilated and she has 2 strands unassimilated. We now assume that their strands, the total no. 40+8+2, 50 strands, are now chosen by the Soul for assimilation. Of course, depending upon another embodiment for that future assimilation, for they, as embodiments, do not exist. You do recall that you have only 1 lifetime, in this embodiment, with this unique framework of strands.
 
So now we have 50 strands chosen by the Soul for assimilation. If all their Soul Rays, interwoven in the unassimilated strand, happen to be Soul Ray 3, then the Soul has no choice but to continue with the common Soul Ray interwoven in all the 50 strands of Soul Ray 3. But if 40 strands have interwoven Soul Ray 3 and 8 strands have interwoven Soul Ray 1 and 2 strands have interwoven Soul Ray 4, the Soul can make a choice of any Ray, not limiting itself to only these three, for the conglomeration of the 50 strands might actually need another vehicle, besides the ones interwoven in the strand.
 
But if all 50 strands have the same, the common Soul Ray, then it requires no great explanation that the vehicle remains constant. But for 40 to be added to 8 to be added to 2, all must have same Monadic Ray. So 40 strands must have, let’s say, Monadic Ray 3 interwoven, which will be the same as the 8 strands and the 2 strands. If these two have a Monadic Ray 3 and she has a Monadic Ray 2, her strands cannot be conglomerated with these two.
 
Are you all very clear?
 
Sorry, I’m not. Why are you bunching all three together?
 
Assumption, just assumption, to make it easy for you to understand. You can bunch 3, you can bunch 50, you can bunch 50,000, all depends on the Soul.
 
You will choose the method of assimilation, depending on your Monadic strand. You will choose that which we had discussed earlier as your core issue, depending on your Monadic strand. We have repeatedly mentioned the core issue is not your unassimilated strand. Your core is the psyche created out of the unassimilated strands. You cannot now confuse the terms.
 
Are you all clear? May we continue?
 
Yes.
 
The Soul has now chosen the Soul Ray. In your human race, you now have the Astral Ray, the Personality Ray, the Physical Ray and the Mental Ray, all of which need to be chosen. At which stage, who will choose what?
 
With the Monadic Ray in place, the Soul Ray in place, and the unassimilated strand conglomeration in place, the weaving of the persona can now start. But Intermediary Soul now plays an extremely vital part, for Intermediary Soul is your first gateway to the Living Mind. You do recall that?
 
The Intermediary will choose the Astral Ray, for the Astral Ray is used by the Intermediary Soul in order to connect you and the Soul. So as you are weaving your embodiment, 3 strands are given to you, one which has remained your Monadic Ray essence, which has come to you as a strand of the central core of light from the orbs and beyond, which cannot be changed, which has been called: your Monadic Ray, your Divine Essence; that which runs through you as your central core of Light.
 
Soul Ray been chosen for you by the Soul to facilitate easy, smooth assimilation, for do remember: assimilation is the purpose for your embodiment. You are already Light, you are already Divine, so your purpose is not to be Light, your purpose is not to be God; you already ARE. The purpose is to draw within your light all that remains, let us use a word, dark, unassimilated. Do you recall those tiny bits of string that had come loose? (Reference to an earlier part of the series) The astral ray is chosen to connect you, vitally, significantly and strongly to the Soul, who must constantly oversee, guide, direct and supervise your living embodiment. The Soul can be considered like the head teacher who oversees your work to see that your ‘beak’ (Reference to an earlier part of the series) will be painted.
 
To connect the Soul to you, the Intermediary Soul which is the vital connector, chooses the Astral Ray, its choice being based upon the unassimilated strands that need to be assimilated, the Monadic Ray, which is the Divine Light running through the embodiment, and the Soul Ray, which is the vehicle of assimilation. Taking all these 3 vital factors into consideration, Intermediary Soul chooses the Astral Ray.
 
Now, we will speak very briefly about one Astral Ray, and that is the Astral Ray 6. For the Intermediary Soul to choose the Astral Ray 6, it has to pay attention to the quantum of light activation of the Monadic strand. Before you get confused, this does not mean that anyone’s Monadic strand is dark; visualize it for easy pictorial association as the central core of light getting wider and wider and wider.
 
Is it enlivenment?
 
Enlivenment. A certain enlivenment has to be attained. Only then can the connector be an Astral Ray 6. If the enlivenment is not upto that minimum, Astral Ray 6 cannot be chosen. But, let us assume, that the Monadic Ray essence interwoven now into the new conglomeration has reached the required minimum enlivenment, light activation quotient, in spite of this if the Intermediary Soul perceives that Astral Ray 6 will not be the appropriate connector, it might choose another Astral Ray. But if Ray 6 has to be chosen, it can only be chosen if there is minimum enlivenment, minimum light activation quotient. More often than not, the Soul will choose Astral Ray 6, if there is such enlivenment, for Astral Ray 6, Ray 6 being the Ray of Idealism, gives the greatest facility for expansion of the human mind. And if you recall: your human race is influenced by the mental energy.
 
And what would be the minimum quotient?
 
We would have to give you such inaccurate figures for there is nothing, in your terms, ‘mathematical’; it depends upon the vibratory level of light emissions.
 
Now you are left with 3 more Rays to be chosen: the Personality Ray, the Physical Ray and the Mental Ray. Here there is no fixed chronological order of choice. Sometimes, the Ray structure is chosen first and the events and persons are then chosen. Sometimes, the events, persons, situations are chosen first and the remaining Ray structure is then chosen to support these chosen events. This freedom is completely given to the conglomerate that is now weaving its persona, its psyche, its core issues all around itself to give it embodiment. So we cannot say that it will choose the Ray first and the event later or vice versa. But these 3 Rays are the sole choice, S-O-L-E, of the embodiment, spirit being, so in a very vital manner, beloveds, you, you, you chose your Personality Ray, Physical Ray and Mental Ray.
 
Your Divine Essence is what you started with, as a strand of light, which is your Monadic Ray. Your Soul Ray was given to you, by the Soul, as your vehicle in which you will travel and your Astral Ray was given to you, by Intermediary Soul, to help you stay in full connection.
 
What’s the bridge between Consciousness in awareness and Consciousness in non-awareness?
 
Intermediary Soul! It holds both: Consciousness in awareness balancing with Consciousness in non-awareness for it is in Intermediary Soul that Consciousness in non-awareness again transcends its own limitations to become Consciousness in awareness. It is through your intellect.
 
But to jump that from manipulative intellect, from ego intellect?
 
Intermediary Soul: the higher mental; Living Mind.
 
As spirit being evolves by assimilating energy strands, will the persona change?
 
Of course the persona will change, of course the personality will change, of course the psyche will change. But the Ray structure remains the same.
 
But enlivenment happens.
 
Enlivenment happens to the Monadic Ray. We have not yet discussed the other Rays so you are confused. Give us that opportunity.
 
So whether you choose the 3 Rays first or you choose the Rays and events simultaneously or you choose the events first, is really quite immaterial; it does not detract from our discussion. But you must know what are the considerations that you, spirit being, will pay heed to when you choose these 3 Rays.
 
The Personality Ray will define the psyche. The Ray will give you your strengths and weaknesses. The Personality Ray will provide you with opportunity or threat or challenge, which you must rise beyond.
 
So now you can study your Personality Ray, and an depth study of your Personality Ray will give you a glimmer of your psyche. When you place Personality Ray together, side-by-side, with your Monadic Essence, which we have given you a hint, will tell you about your core issue as well, the 2 together will give you very clear answers.
 
The Physical Ray is chosen in order to facilitate the events that you wish to create in your incarnation. What do you wish to experience? Who do you wish to bring into your life? What kind of situations do you wish to pose before you as challenges, as hurdles, in order to transcend Consciousness in non-awareness to make it Consciousness in full awareness? The Physical Ray primarily works on those around you. For example: if she (pointing to a sitter) chooses a Physical Ray 3 (for those who are not aware Ray 3 is the Ray of divine Wisdom), the ray, along with all the experiences it gives her, will bring to her events and persons who have the potential of adding to her Divine Wisdom. And it might be through events which she considers extremely difficult, but they hold within their structure the potential to bring to her Divine Wisdom, which if she should have enough enlivenment, she will be able to tap into.
 
And then there is the Mental Ray. From your standpoint, as the living embodiment, along with the Personality Ray, the Mental Ray is the most important, for very often, you are unaware of your own light quotient, you are certainly unaware of the vehicle for assimilation, you are unaware of the connector between you and Intermediary Soul and Soul; but you are not unaware of what you think. And what you think and how you think and why you think, the way in which you think, is all determined by the Mental Ray.
 
The Ray can be chosen as an opportunity or as a hurdle. For example: those who choose Mental Ray 4 almost always choose it as a personal hurdle. They constantly put their mind before them as their greatest challenge. If they should think ‘right’, events will turn out pleasant, enlivenment follows. If they should think, so-called, wrong, which is the challenge of the Mental Ray 4, conflict, chaos, disharmony, disorder, follows.
 
Those who choose, let us assume, a Mental Ray 3 could very likely choose the Mental Ray as a facilitator, as an opportunity, not as a hurdle, for through the Mental Ray, they keep their Mental body constantly imbued with the flow of Divine Wisdom. Of course, whether they choose to use the Divine Wisdom or not is entirely reliant on their psyche, persona, Personality Ray.
 
Now you may have wondered why the human race has only been told about 7 Rays, when it does not take too much intellect to realize that the universe has to be made up of far more than seven rays. The human embodiment is ruled by these pillars, and though you are constantly being influenced by all other Rays, these vital pillars that you are born with vitally influence and determine the course of your life. Unless the human race can fully assimilate the truth of these seven, what would be the purpose of giving information of more than seven?
 
But here we must ask you to bear with us for a little bit of let us say ‘trickery’ (large smile here) that your Soul conspires with the universe to do. Not all Rays that come into your natal chart and are revealed to you are completely accurate. For example: the Ray of Divine Wisdom has a parallel Ray 26th, which is very close to Divine Wisdom but it has one unique feature: it is Divine Wisdom in order to assimilate the wisdom of other worlds. So your Ray 3 may, in reality, be 26 but because it has not been made known to you, it will appear to you as Ray 3. That’s the ‘trickery’.
 
Would that be in any of the Rays?
 
In any of the Rays, except the Monadic.
 
We will not go into what these other Rays are but it has just been told so that you are aware that this could happen. That is why you might find: one Personality Ray 3 and another Personality Ray 3 interested in 2 completely different aspects of higher truths, universal laws; one interested in other worlds, the other not interested at all in that but and interested only in those truths that pertain to this universe, this world, this life. And the other may make no sense of this life but can make marvelous sense of other worlds.
 
So you have now your embodiment, clearly explained to you, along with your Rays that you have chosen. Now let us move on to how this Ray structure facilitates assimilation, for even if it may be through challenge, the Ray structure only facilitates assimilation.
 
Every Ray, including the Monadic Ray, has the ability to set before you a hurdle as well as an opportunity. It depends on how you are approaching the Ray, how you are using the functionality of the Ray. For example: the Ray 1 has the most exquisite aspect of the Godforce Power in its most grand and majestic form. It strength, its force, its power, its might, cannot be matched by any other Universal Ray. But the challenge that this Ray 1 will put forth will be that of arrogance and conceit and humiliation and slavery and domination and tyranny and misuse and abuse of power in its most destructive forms. And yet, the only creation, the only way the universe creates is through Ray 1. No other Ray has the ability for instant creation, for Ray 1 commands and it IS! Depending upon the embodiment, the psyche, the persona, the physical, the event, the stress, the facility, the enlivenment, the liquid light within and the light activation quotient, that spirit being will use Ray 1 as its greatest challenge or its greatest source of divinity. Thus every ray will present both threat and opportunity. Consciousness in non-awareness will use the Ray as its challenge. Consciousness in awareness will use the Ray as a divine opportunity.
 
So you’re referring to all Ray 1, like personality, etc.?
 
Yes! The strongest aspect, of course, of Ray 1, beloved, would be Monadic, for that is the Divine Essence of the spirit being.
 
Now let us see how the Ray structure help you, facilitate you, in assimilation. Let us assume, purely for the sake of discussion, that the strand in question to be assimilated is the strand of prejudice to acceptance of all. Let us assume the Monadic Ray is 2. How will this Ray be the hurdle for this spirit being with this assimilation process and how will the Ray be an opportunity? Ray 2, to bring to your memory, is the Ray of Love interwoven with Wisdom. Its greatest hurdle would be making its family and its friends the object of its love and devotion and all else are fools, not to be tolerated. Prejudice to acceptance of all so there is only acceptance of family, friends, dear ones; non-acceptance of anyone else for they do not become your object of love. How can it become your strength, your power, your force? It gives you the ability to see everyone as a world family. All as one. Love is a state of being from which you radiate a light that embraces all in the universe. Monadic Ray 2, in its challenge, treats love as an emotion: I love her and therefore, accept her. I don’t love her and therefore, I reject. Monadic ray 2 as a force would instantly experience the state of Love and radiate the unifying power of this state towards all, irrespective of their colour, caste, relationship, and so on.

Yes.
 
Now we will move to the vehicle. Let us assume that the vehicle for assimilation, the Soul Ray, chosen by the Soul, with profound insight and discrimination, has Ray 5: the Ray of Applied Intelligence, the ability to take all wisdom and apply it. This spirit being, prejudice to acceptance, let us say, may sit amongst us, hearing higher truths of acceptance and equality and oneness and unity. Soul Ray 5, as a vehicle, gives this spirit being the ability to assimilate, to gather these truths and then live them out by being in a state of love, even for those who cause him harm. But every Ray has its challenge, and the challenge of Ray 5 would be: only this group of light workers has all the knowledge; ‘all others are fools. They do not even know that God is one. How foolish that they should believe in Allah and Ram and Zarathushtra and Christ. Those fools! Those poor, poor fools!’
 
As soon as the spirit being chooses the strength of its vehicle in its majesty and grandeur, there is no chaos, no conflict, no struggle left, for all is one and one is all. But as soon as prejudice rears its head and is facilitated by the Soul Ray 5, for even in rearing its head, even in accelerating and exaggerating the prejudice, Soul Ray 5 is still facilitating the assimilation, for that which causes you struggle and pain is that which is resolved first. So go ahead and be more prejudiced and we will give you more struggle and joyously enjoy the game. (Laughter)
 
And then there is Astral Ray: the Soul’s constant monitoring: are you veering from the Plan? Instead of the beak, have you gone to the toenails, thinking that to be the beak? Move up! Astral Ray! And we will assume that the Astral Ray in our example is 1. The more prejudiced you are, the more arrogant, dominating, tyrannical people you will meet, who will mistreat you, abuse you, ill-treat you, make you feel small and worthless, just as you have make all others feel worthless with your prejudice.
 
Where does the Law of Cause and Effect enter?
 
Ah! Do not let us be misunderstood into thinking this is reprimand and punishment. This is experience of another’s pain, in order to experience another’s divinity.
 
But Astral Ray 1 can present you strength, so the Soul embraces you in the strength of Astral Ray 1 and brings you to a glorious teacher, a teacher strong and powerful, a teacher who embraces all, from the poorest to the richest without any distinction, a teacher who needs no praise, a teacher who needs no flattery, a teacher who needs no acknowledgment, a teacher who just is the Power of the Lord.
 
Monadic Ray 2: Love/Wisdom begins to love the teacher and this glorious, magnificent teacher uses the emotion of love to bring the spirit beingness into a state of love, through which the spirit beingness can embrace all just as the teacher embraces all; Astral Ray being the connector for the Soul’s monitoring, supervising, and giving you opportunity to shift.
 
And then there is Personality Ray which let us assume is the Ray 6: Ray of Devotion/ Idealism. Hurdle of the ray: Only those objects of my devotion are worth my attention; all others can stand by the wayside waiting for their turn to come: challenge of the Personality Ray. Opportunity of the Personality Ray: I devote myself to transmutation. Assimilation and resolution are my cause for being and the strength of my persona. I devote to this cause and in that I understand my prejudices, my obsessions and my compulsions and I transcend and I transmute.
 
Let us now assume that the spirit beingness has chosen Physical Ray 2, the same ray as Monadic. In its lifetime, it will meet those that will represent the strength of Ray 2 and those that reflect the same weaknesses and flaws inherent in the spirit being persona.
 
Rays give you the power to see the weaknesses that you have chosen to weave into your psyche. Weaknesses are not inherent in a spirit being. A spirit being chooses weaknesses for it must move from non-assimilation to assimilation and therefore, it needs to have its weaknesses, for the human race moves through conflict.
 
And the spirit being chooses Mental Ray 3. The force of Divine Wisdom, constantly being a part of the spirit beingness’ life, through books, through pictures, through people, through experiences, all taking it to the higher truth: All is one and one is all.
 
Have you all understood how strands are interwoven with Rays?
 
Yes.
 
To learn your Ray structures is vital, for you then understand whether you are making use of the Ray, as a challenge or as a strength.
 
So when you assimilate strands through the Rays, you automatically gain enlivenment?
 
Absolutely! Greater and greater activation of light.
 
When we study these Rays, we can then understand the unassimilated strand.
 
You will certainly be given a clearer picture when you put Monadic and Personality together. And with that if you can study the position of your Sun, along with your eventual Soul mission, you will get an even greater clarity of the strand and the core issue that comes from the strand.
 
May I ask what eventual soul mission is?
 
Eventual soul mission... that which is attained when all strands have been assimilated or a large number of strands have been assimilated. For example: you as a spirit being….. Your Divine strand started with a conglomeration of strands.
 
Are you with us? This may seem a little complicated, but be with us.
 
Then that incarnation died so that conglomeration came to an end. But your Monadic Essence is still vital, still alive. That Monadic Essence now takes on another conglomeration; greater enlivenment. Then that embodiment dies and so on and so on and so on; each embodiment, with each assimilation, moving into greater and greater enlivenment, greater and greater light quotient activation.
 
Are you with us?
 
Yes.
 
Your Monadic Ray, your Divine Essence that has taken on different conglomerations (now when we say: yours, we do not mean you as persons e.g. Shernaz or Nandinie or Ruki; those are only embodiments. We are taking of the Divine Essence strand). When it has reached a light quotient activation of 98.98, the Soul mission for which this Divine strand split into its orbs, into its various hierarchies, into spirit beingness, comes into activation; the reason for which your Divine strand chose to be ‘individual’.
 
Isn’t it the quest of everybody to do this?
 
Of course it is! And the answers are very clear in your soul charts. Nothing is left hidden. All is transparent; everything can be seen for it is your Plan, it is your life, it is your journey. But let us assume that this Divine strand that has taken on this embodiment, with this current conglomeration of non-assimilated strands, has a light activation of 75. This means the fullness of Soul mission, (fullness of Soul mission can only be on a global universal level; it cannot be on a personal level. Whatever is your mission will be in service for all; not service for a few). So with 75 as the activation, (for recall that the full activation is at 98.98 light quotient) Soul mission activation cannot take place fully, but it will take place partially. And as activation expands, light vibrations get stronger and stronger, missions get wider and larger.
 
What about those who have gone beyond the 98.98?
 
They are not in embodiment.
 
But they are still serving humanity.
 
Of course. But not in embodiment. There is no non-assimilation.
 
So psyche and persona have to work on assimilation to enliven the strand.
 
Perfect! And then you start using the strength of these Rays instead of as challenges. Then there is no conflict, no struggle, no chaos, no disharmony, no disorder. Monadic Ray comes into active creation, active manifestation, active experience.
 
If we were to assimilate the main strand and the minor strands are left, isn’t it the same principle?
 
You first assimilate the minor strands and then move towards the major for they are easier to assimilate.
 
If we assimilate the main strand, won’t the minor strands get assimilated by themselves?
 
You would not be able to assimilate the main without having gathered the strength that you get as you assimilate the smaller ones And yet, when we say: smaller and larger, beloved, we are only referring to the force of non-assimilation: how much is left non-assimilated. For everything is vital to be assimilated.
 
You have said there is a minor strand of flattery in everyone. Is there a minor strand of greed in humanity as well?
 
Of course there is! Of course there is!
 
And lack of acceptance. Is that a strand that’s very common too?
 
Very common, but not in all. Selfishness, co-related to greed is almost a universal strand. And yet these strands come out of the basic instinct to survive.
 
It’s psyche and persona that wants to survive. But it doesn’t exist.
 
Ah! But it exists (referring to the mind).
 
As long as one is in embodiment, it will exist.
 
Absolutely! And it must exist for it gives you the balance that you require. It makes you aware of threat, it gives you discrimination, it gives you the power of discernment.
