Namaste! Greetings from I. I is light, I is universe, I is divine, I is God, I is Shiva, I is Christ, I is Buddha, I is Krishna, I is Allah. Greetings from I.
Names, labels, only create separation. Each one, if they should choose, may define I in any way they choose. I is ONE, just as I is many. And today, I speaks of Expectation.
There is not one amongst you who will deny the truth, if we should say, that expectations should be removed, that you should be liberated from expectations. But, we are going to tell you to expect. Do not free yourself from expectations. Modify the expectations. If you have no expectations, there will be no goals that you will meet. That is a state of bliss most certainly, for then there is nowhere to come from and nowhere to go, but, in truth, have any of you reached that state of bliss? And, in truth, are any of you near to that state of bliss? So why condemn your current level of consciousness? Why condemn what you need in your current state of light activation? And in your current state of life, of light, of consciousness, you need the impelling force of your expectation.
Oh, you may desire to be caught in your little world of illusion and believe that your impelling force is the force of love and light. God, Shiva, Christ, Krishna, Allah, I, tells you, beloved, remove gently the spectacles of illusion from your eyes, for you are not close to that pure force of love. All those who speak of this force of love that impels them are expecting a pat on the back. And therefore the impelling force is still expectation and not love.
There will come a joyous time when, as your scriptures have told you, expectation will fall away and liberate you to higher activation and higher consciousness, and certainly higher states of bliss. But, in your anxiety to reach higher states of bliss, you cannot ignore the state of bliss you enjoy currently. To enjoy that state you must understand it, and you must humbly acknowledge it. Do not allow good-sounding, sacred words to put filters and blinkers and blinders on you. The words sound very good, but not long can you sustain the illusionary energy behind them. Very soon those who will hear you speak will hear them as hollow sounds.
Now let us talk of expectation. What is needed for you in your current state of consciousness is the modification of your expectations. What will you expect? Expect miracles. Expect loyalty. Expect honesty. Expect fun. Expect light heartedness. Expect friendship. Expect to belong. Expect to embrace. Expect to live. And though we say this last, it is the most significant: expect love. Would you be surprised if we told you that only a bare 40-45 per cent of the human race expects love? And even fewer expect peace. And even fewer number expect goodness. Where do you fall? Do you expect love? Do you expect goodness? Do you expect bliss?
If you truly expect (and we will explain what we mean by that), it will BE. Expectation is the first brick towards building a monument to manifestation. How else would this much-talked-of ‘Secret’ work? If there is no expectation, there is no desire to manifest, there is no effort to manifest and there is no manifestation. Let us take these blinkers off from your eyes, and reveal to you the truth of what you expect. You expect hurt. You expect ingratitude. You expect failure. You expect toil and struggle and conflict. You expect others whom you interact with to respond negatively to you …… and your expectations come true each time, for the truth is what you expect is what you receive. And this is what is meant by self-created choices.
You turn around when there is a conflict and say, “But I didn’t create it. I was in a state of harmony. I was living a happy joyous life when out of the blue another human being came and created that conflict in my life. I did not create it.” But you did, you did, you did, for as soon as this human being first stepped into your life you expected conflict. And that human being delivered conflict. All those who come into your life are merely delivery men. Where there is expectation, there is intent, there is energy. Where there is energy, there is full attention and focus. Where there is attention and focus, there is manifestation. And so it is! and so it is! and so it is.
To P: And beloved little one, what is it that you expect of those who work with you and for you? The path before you is a golden one. Whatever you should expect, that golden path will open. That is to BE. That is a soul choice. That is to BE. But along that golden path, will be the most exquisite flowers or some hard rocks upon which you will stumble and fall. Which you will create depends on what you will expect. Success is your destiny. There may be times when you will want to run away from that destiny. But you will not. You will not be permitted to. Success is your destiny and we expect a few goodies in return (laughter).
To G: And you beloved, what do you expect? You expect criticism and you expect judgement. But more importantly beloved, you expect sadness.
Before you can place the cornerstone of your monument to manifestation, there has to be force and strength in your sinews to lift up that foundation stone and to place it correctly so that the monument stands tall forevermore. And what is it that gives strength to your sinews? Faith! Unless you have faith, you will not expect miracles. And who does that faith rest in? God? Wonderful. All the names of the Gods? Wonderful. Light, Universe, Divinity? Wonderful. I questions, do they (God, gods, Universe, light) live through you? If you place them above, then they do not live within you. And if they do not live within, then expectations of miracles are quite futile for you. Only your expectations come to life. If God and the names of God and light and universe and divinity live within you, IS you, living and expecting, then miracles are yours to enjoy in bliss.
Do not start upon this pointless, completely futile effort of liberating yourself from expectations. I tells you it will not happen. But you do have the power to modify your expectations. You have the power to say NO. When suspicion knocks at your door, when distrust wishes to enter, when sorrow wishes to hold and embrace you, you have the power to say NO. But just saying NO will not be enough. What you need to say is, ‘no, dear distrust, entry is not permitted, for I am expecting miracle to be just around the corner, and the two of you do not see eye to eye.” (Laugher)
Yes, make life a laugh. And then see how your expectations modify naturally and effortlessly. Make life a laugh. You expect success to come after a struggle and so it does. You expect harmony to follow a conflict and so it does. You expect country to war with country and so it does. You expect your brother to pick up arms against you and so he does. What do you expect? You have to think very, very strongly upon this.
Why do you still choose to live by human conditioning and law? When you know that you are divine beings having a human experience, why do you still choose to limit yourself to human law? Is it enough to merely learn divine laws? When will you start expecting the joy, the splendour, the glory, the magnificence, promised to you by divine law? You feel good to hear it. But it does not become your expectation. You expect to be let down, you expect to be disappointed, you expect to be betrayed. Are these the expectations of unity? Are these the expectations of anyone who claims to expect unity? Do you truly expect unity?
Expectation is very real. It is not a fantasy process that takes place in the adaptive regions of the mind. Expectation must be an impelling force in your life. And no, I tells you here and I tells you now, no, expecting material success is no sin, is not shameful. For if through that material success you become full, and the surge and power of your divinity can overflow through material success, expect it, expect it, expect it!
Is it not time to truly recondition your thoughts? Old scriptures have been written, but truths have changed since then, and truths will constantly change. Look around you in the world today. So many materially rich and successful persons are doing such enormous tasks of divinity. How many persons struggling with poverty and conflict have the time and the opportunity to think of another? What is this foolish shame that has been associated for so long with material success and material wealth and material growth? There is no shame attached to that. If there is anything to be shameful about, which I does not agree with in the first place, if there is anything to be shameful about, it could be greed, malice, envy. But wait, do not condemn the greedy, the malicious, do not condemn. For the greed is the result of expecting lack. And envy is the result of expecting failure. And how far away from you are lack and failure in reality? Not very far away at most times, and sometimes, perilously close.
Expect your faith to move mountains, for it can. Expect each day to bring in a miracle, for it will. Expect those who condemn you, to embrace you, and that will be so. Expect all to speak the language of love. Expect all to hold their brethren hands and to move in unity towards a light that beckons all human beings. Expect richness for all. Expect wealth for all. Expect fullness of the stomach for all. Expect, expect, expect! Make your expectations so strong that your entire energy and attention and focus make these miracles come true.
