COSMIC ENERGIES AND HAPPINESS

That’s the keynote of today. Are you happy? That’s what the cosmic energies are all about: they’re about happiness.

As Burzin was talking it reminded me of my article in the Sunday Midday: ‘Gratification or Joy.’ Gratification does not make you happy; it leads you into a space of illusion where you think you are happy. That is why your laughter is a little bit louder than it needs to be, your behavior is a little more crass than it needs to be. It’s not about the drink or the smoke or the food; it’s about escaping. The irony is: when you want to escape pain, you have to escape happiness as well; the two come walking hand-in-hand because pain is not sorrow, pain is not tears or loneliness. Pain is the resistance to being God.

I wrote last week, ‘The only thing between you and joy is the disbelief in your greatness.’ You already are great, you already are spirit. Why do you need that glass of alcohol to make you feel happy? What is the cigarette smoke doing to you except making you run away more from the reality of your Godhood? I’m not here to moralize. I enjoy the occasional glass of alcohol and the very occasional cigarette. But as soon as I’m doing it to escape being happy, I will stop drinking or eating or whatever it is I’ve been doing at that time to escape from being happy. That sounds so odd. Why would you want to escape being happy? Isn’t that what we are all searching for?

Many clients tell me they want to be happy and my question is: why aren’t you? And I get a reply: ‘I’m not happy because I don’t have a job’, ‘I’m not happy because my husband doesn’t love me’, ‘I’m not happy because I don’t have enough money’, ‘I’m not happy because my health is shot to bits’. No, my friend, you’re not happy because you don’t believe you’re God. If you believed you were God, you would give so much love to that husband who doesn’t love you, he would have to be with you, the same children who are hitting out at you in their pain, you would envelop them in such warm embrace that they would never have to hit out to another soul ever. The same illusion of money and a job that keeps running away from you would have to come back to you because your entire energy structure of being God draws to you joy. Have any of us ever heard God complaining about being unhappy? (Laughter)

Every moment of complaint, every word that you use, is a resistance to being happy. There was a time when the Earth had to experience sorrow. It was required for our growth. We had to understand unhappiness, and conflict because only through that understanding would we move into a place of unity. You and I are of a race where we have chosen diversity. But this diversity is really unique; it is held together by unity. So we had to experience diversity completely. We had to experience others as completely different from us. Now the focus is on the other half of the equation. We mistakenly believed that the separation was the full equation. The full equation is: diversity, held together by unity.

We’ve beyond the separation. 31st December 2005 shifted us into a completely different modality. The Earth moved, but you and I didn’t. We are still living in the Middle Ages; I’m deliberately using the term ‘Middle Ages’ because that’s when conflict and separation was at its peak. Somewhere in our spiritual evolution, our memories are stuck there. We haven’t moved with the Earth. 31st December 2006 brought about a huge shift where the universe empowered us: “All power is now in your hands. Create whatever it is that you desire.” We were not ready for that responsibility because with memories being stuck in the Middle Ages, with memories being stuck in war, in conflict, with memories being stuck in the non-greatness of who we are, what we created for ourselves in 2007 was utter chaos in our lives.

Turn your minds back to 2007. What did it bring for you? How could it not bring those experiences, those challenges? You were creating whatever it is that you were focusing upon. And you’ll say, “That’s not true, Ell. I only focused upon getting happiness and I only focused on harmony and I didn’t get it so it doesn’t work.” I beg to disagree. I’m not talking about intellectual focus; cosmic energies are not about intellectual focus. Cosmic energies are about the focus of your soul. Now here’s the problem: there are two levels of your soul: the highest level of your soul, which is the disembodied, expanded, constantly evolving, and the embodied soul, which is strongly influenced by the intellect, by thought, by attitude, by belief system, by prejudices, biases, need for gratification. Unfortunately, we focus on that level of the soul.

If our focus was on the expanded soul, we would have created everything joyous. It happened in small ways but not in the most vital areas that you needed because in those most vital areas, you were locked in your emotional game play. What are those emotional games? Blame, most certainly, but there is one more emotional game that I would like to stress on today, because I see it all around me. It’s the fear of getting old. I see it in my dear friends, in my clients. They feel time is passing them by. ‘Will I ever get that life partner?’ ‘Will I meet with the joy I want to experience?’ Their fear of ‘time is passing me by’ makes them run to gratify their very transient, illusory desires. And they wake up the next morning feeling even older than before, even more unfulfilled.

Beloveds, it’s not about how old you are, it’s about how young you feel. Take a moment and ask yourself, “If I didn’t know my age, how old would I be?” I always get 25. I’m 47. Am I kidding myself? Not at all! I’m very proud to be 47. I honor the grey hair that is appearing; each grey hair tells me, Ell, you’ve fought your battles and you’ve won.” It’s not about the wrinkles in your face or the grey in your hair or the physical body slowing down. The fear that you’re facing is that if at this age you feel worthless, when you’re older will you be even more so.

So, on the one hand there are all these pent up fears and on the other is the cosmic energy which gives us creation, in the palm of our hands, and tells us to create. You may question, “Are we really ready for this?” We are! We are ready for Creation! All you have to believe is that you can.

Often we are caught in the place of not acknowledging ourselves or not acknowledging ourselves enough. We turn to our divination tools because we’re not in a space where you can turn inwards without their help. That is why we have divination tools, tarot cards, crystals, astrology, and so on, but we’re still using them with our soul memories stuck in the Middle Ages, and so the tarot card is still being read from a point of negativity. They’re still telling you about conflicts and non-fulfillment.

The new cosmic energies have no such encodement. Every tarot card and every crystal now has only a positive message to give you. We cannot read them because we don’t understand ourselves, we don’t understand happiness. We are too scared to say, “I am Joyous”. What is the fear: that people will think you’re God? You are!

Let’s briefly look at these divination tools and how we’re going to encode them using the new cosmic energies. Let’s take crystals. When I started using crystals, about 10 years ago, it was all very cut and dry: rose quartz was used for love and harmony and relationships; amethysts were for the 3rd eye and releasing stuff and creating stuff; carnelian for the solar plexus. That’s all over! Nothing’s in black and white anymore. It’s now all about yourself. Now the rose quartz may not be about love and harmony and relationships. The rose quartz is about unity, self-unity, male and female energies coming together. If you are being urged to put that rose quartz upon, let’s say, your solar plexus which is where you lodge your control issues, your issues of self-power. It is because of that issue that there is no self-union.

The rose quartz is for the union of the male and female energies. Just as the ruby or the garnet is about the union of sexual energy within yourself. It’s not from the point of view of love and harmony and relationships; it’s the sexual union within self, which is the root chakra. It’s about Shiva and Shakti coming together in the most joyous orgasm possible, which has nothing to do with physical sex. But if it brings on the urge, enjoy it. The carnelian, which was earlier used for material gain, for power, for loosening your hold on ego, is today all about bringing in the power within you. The carnelian holds the power of Ray 1: the Ray of Divine Will and Power. It’s not about releasing your ego; it’s about bringing in your Divine Will and Divine Power, and then how you use it is entirely up to you. You may use your Divine Power to understand an aspect of control which you need to, or you may use your power to understand why you are not being able to generate enough money.

The carnelian was earlier used to generate money but it will not work on that at all anymore because the new cosmic energy does not recognize money at all. If your manifestation is the car, the house, the money, it will not happen because the new cosmic energy is the energy of abundance. How can you have abundance when you don’t believe you are great? The only entity in this world that is completely and fully abundant is God. But you don’t believe you’re God, so what are you going to create and what is the carnelian going to bring you? The cosmic energy that the carnelian contains is not being used by you, because you’re still trying for the old energy of money. But the moment you take the carnelian or the golden topaz, which releases the same cosmic energy, and you use this cosmic energy to be abundant in every sphere of your life, you will be amazed to see how fully it works.

For cosmic energy of abundance to enter our lives, it has to first remove the energy of lack that surrounds us. Your energy structure still has that energy of lack because you don’t believe you are God. Lack is a very significant part of your energy matrix, your emotional and mental bodies, even today. For abundance to dwell permanently in your energy structure, it has to make place for itself. Thus the cosmic energy of abundance will work by first bringing in a power which is going to destroy the energy of lack. What happens when the energy of lack begins to get destroyed? It begins to show itself larger than ‘life’. Your husband will come home and have this awful fight with you when all you want is peace and harmony. If your area of lack is regarding health, you might start feeling more ill rather than better. Wait that period out. Don’t lose faith in this critical period of transition. When you are embracing abundance, you have to wait till the energy of lack has completely left your energy structure so that abundance can fill it and make it vibrant.

Cosmic energy is also the energy of union; it focuses on the union within you, not outside of you. That’s another shift. The older energies were the energies of the outside world. It drew your attention to the outside; that is why there was separation, diversity. It needed for us to see all of us as separate beings: unless I know you, I can’t respect you and I can’t love you. So I had to first see you as different from me. I had to see you different from me so that I could understand who you really were, so that I could love and respect every part of you that was different from me. We used the old energies to condemn, criticize, scorn, to be fanatical about our own ideologies and doctrines, instead of using them to know and understand.

You must understand that the energies of Earth are not waiting for us. Even if you’re caught in your space of lack and separation, the energies of the Earth, of the cosmos, have moved into a space of self-union. If you’re still focusing on the outside: the criticism, scorn, prejudice, then there is no focus on the inside or the focus is only of the same criticisms, the same prejudice and the same scorn. The external and the internal are very closely joined. What you put out is what you get back and what you get is what you have internalized.

Not a single divination tool is now giving out any kind of negation. It’s only a positive affirmation. Let’s say you have the Empress which is coming reverse. How are you going to view that? You’ll view that as: you’re unable to nurture or you are not nurtured or you’re in a place of lack of self-worth. No! No! What is the Empress saying, from the new cosmic energies? She’s saying devote more attention to self-love (she’s not saying this is lack of self-love) and draw towards yourself more and more people to embrace. She is, in fact, pointing out to you your power of nurturing, not your lack of it.

Let’s turn to astrology. I’m only going to look at those planets that are so feared by people. The planet Saturn has nothing to fear. Saturn’s energies will work for you in the way you wish them to work. They work according to the cosmic energies of creation and unity. If your expanded soul is aware that because of a certain area of lack within you, you are not merging completely with your female and male energies, it will ask Saturn to make it obvious to you. Let’s say, if that area is not accessing the abundance of the spiritual resource within you, Saturn will point it out to you by taking away material resources because material resources are a reflection of the spiritual resources.

Your siblings, your relatives, your neighbors are a reflection of your spiritual family. Your partner, your spouse is a reflection of the male/female, Shiva/Shakti, yin/yang energy within you. Venus is not talking about love on the outside; Venus is talking about love on the inside. If Venus happens to be in the 8th House (another dreaded House because it is the House of Death), Venus is saying to use her power to kill that aspect of you that creates a hurdle to self-love. Venus is not telling you, through the 8th House, that you’re going to have a problem on the outside but because we still believe in those traditional concepts, traditional interpretations, they still hold true for us.

You have to change that belief system. With the change in the cosmic energy and the Earth’s energy, these traditional interpretations don’t stand true at all. But how will you move into the cosmic energy when your belief system is still stuck in the old interpretation? Whatever divination tool you are using, use it for one focus alone: union, unity. Self-unity, first, primary, significant, only reflected as the unity outside.

Let’s assume you have a planet like Mars or Pluto in your house of relationships, the 7th House. Traditional astrology and its interpretations will tell us there will be some kind of trouble faced in relationships. If you’re caught in that belief system you have already created a welcome space for that to take place. But Ithat energy doesn’t exist anymore. What Mars or Pluto in the 7th House will tell you is: there is an inner agitation between male and female energy. Which aspect of you are you denying? Are you denying the male part of you or the female part of you? In this material world, all of us know ourselves from the outside reflection, so how will I know that? Supposing my husband refuses to take decisions or execute action then I know it’s about my male energy. It’s not about him; he doesn’t exist in the new scheme of things. I have to look at my male energy which is divergent from my female energy.

Every planet is only telling you about self-love, but in its own unique way. So Mars will tell you to take its fire, its strength, its passion and use these to bring union between male and female energy within you. Mars is no longer the planet of conflict. There is no conflict because the Ray 4, Harmony through Conflict, has changed to the Ray of Universal Beauty, Music and Art. How can Mars bring conflict unless you are making space for conflict? Yes, Mars is telling you there is restlessness, an inner agitation, a ripple in your energy structure that is not allowing you to be completely self-united. Use the power and the passion and the drive and the determination and the focus of Mars to bring that about. Use Uranus to make transformation in your life that would otherwise seem completely impossible. It gives you the energy to make a 180 degree turn around. Whatever it is you’re using, use it from one focus alone: union.

If you are giving interpretations to yourself or your clients and if you interpret these with negative words like fear and anger, you’re wrong. You’re wrong. Instead draw your clients’ attention to their greatness. Make them aware of how great they are. Make them understand how they can accomplish the very best that they desire. Don’t allow them to think small and don’t, don’t, don’t allow them to focus on the outside because that outside energy is dead. The new cosmic energy for everything is about self-union.

I end by repeating the only thing between you and joy is disbelief in your greatness.
