I know I am the universe but how do I experience that in my every day living? It’s a question that we often ask. Our knowingness is just not enough; we wish to experience ourselves as the universe so that this abstract universal truth can become our reality.

So, today, we are going to take a small part of the universe, our solar system, and we are going to see how our solar system is experienced, by us, day to day. We will experience that the Sun and the moon and the planets are not just some ‘bodies’ out there, which we look at through the eye of a telescope. But they are REAL, and they exist within us; in fact, we are their energy because there is nothing in the Universe whose energy you do not hold, and if you hold that energy, you can be certain that you are manifesting that energy, even though you are not conscious of it. So, today let us be conscious of how we manifest the energy of our solar system.

And let’s start with the 2 luminaries in our solar system, the Sun and the moon. The Sun and the moon play a beautiful role within us. The energies of the Sun makes us vibrant, makes us shine, leads us to laughter, makes us cheerful, and brings the feeling of inner warmth. When someone is in need, when a child is crying and you hold that child to your heart and give him ‘emotional warmth’, what you are doing is radiating the Sun. You are becoming the Sun for this child, whose world might be in darkness. When you give a gift to someone, who least expects it, and you see their eyes light up with joy, what you have done is emanated the rays of the Sun. When you show someone the way when they are lost, when you show someone direction, again you are this same beacon of light.

Then comes the moon. The moon has its own gentle energy; not as vibrant as the energy of the Sun, but as vital and as required. When you gently rock a baby to sleep, giving him the comfort of serenity and security, you become the gentle light of the moon that streams into the night of his thoughts, and puts him to rest. When someone is in pain and tears flow freely and you are there, even if it is with only a tissue to clean the tears, what you are doing is being the moon, gentle, caressing and nurturing.

Within us, we hold the sun and the moon. We shine our light in different ways: sometimes, in strong, powerful ways, and sometimes gently, softly, compassionately. Depending on the way you are shining your light, you know that you are experiencing, manifesting the rays of the Sun or the light of the moon.

The sun has also a different role to play: it gives you personality, it gives you a purpose, it gives you a goal. For all of us who have set our goals (however small they might have been), and then walked determinately towards that goal, and experienced its ‘success’, we have experienced the rays of the sun. Each time you are what you are, which means even ‘impatient’, dear, all you are doing is manifesting the rays of the sun.

Could you explain the impatience bit?

 See the Sun, how quickly the dawn becomes bright light. It has no patience, and doesn’t wait for 24 hours before a rosy dawn becomes a harsh noon day Sun; it’s rapid, it’s instantaneous almost; the Sun is impatient; it’s a go ahead and do your thing. So, your impatience also, R, is the energy of the Sun: the driving, pushing, steering, prodding energy of the Sun.

Each time someone looks at you for encouragement, for moral support, what they are looking for is the manifestation of the energy of the Sun, that you are.

And then comes the moon, with another purpose: the moon is gentle and as we all know, through geography and science, the moon affects the tides. Have you ever wondered why? The energy of the moon has an energy very similar to the flow of water (not exactly the same but very similar) and with this energy of flow, of gentle flow, the moon affects your emotions and your feelings. Sit by the sea-side on a moonlit night, and very often, your thoughts turn almost sad, wistful, nostalgic; a lot of what-ifs and I wish it had been come up, and that’s lovely because what the moon is doing is bringing up the flow of emotions that you have kept suppressed within you; so it brings it up for conscious thought: what if I hadn’t said ‘no’ to that young boy years ago? I wish I had been a little kinder when my mother was still alive. These are examples of might come up. All of these pent up emotions because they are so ‘small’, because they don’t seem very significant emotions in the larger scheme of our daily lives, they are ‘forgotten’, but are built up, within us, into little wounds that lie silently; often open wounds, which need closure, which need to be healed. So when you are sitting by the sea-side on a moonlit night and these questions come up, it’s the moon within you that is saying: let them go. You, with your energy of the moon, are consciously voicing these emotions now and thus, letting them go. So you and I are the Sun and the moon and we manifest them regularly.

And then we come to a beautiful planet, small but so beautiful, and that’s Mercury. Mercury is a unique planet; it affects our lower selves, our lower minds, and it affects our Higher Selves and our higher minds. And because it affects both of these, Mercury can be called the Divine Opposite. It always has an ‘opposite’ to present to you. It brings to you options of either ‘this’ or ‘that’ but ‘not both’, and it also brings to you options ‘this’ or ‘that’ or ‘both’. It shows you ‘impossibilities’ and instantly shows you all the ‘probabilities’ and it constantly plays this little game with us, making our lower selves believe it can’t be done, making our Higher Selves experience that it has already been done. This little conflict that Mercury brings up for us is vital. It is this conflict of: Is it possible or is it not? Can I do it or is it out of my league? that makes you and I strive for the challenge, for each time someone tells you, you can’t do it, a little devil rises up within you, and says: I can and I’ll show you I can!! We all manifested Mercury’s brilliant opposition as children, and even more so as rebellious teenagers, for every time mom said: this can’t be done; it’s socially unacceptable, you went out and did it, and proved that finally society had to accept it. Every time dad put his foot down and insisted you do something his way, you devilishly did something exactly your own way, till dad had to agree that your truth was also as powerful.

And it is Mercury’s energies within you that manifest this way. They give you laughter, superficial fun, which we all need; we all need an outing, which is just light fun, with our friends: a glass of wine, just having light-hearted, superficial fun. Go back to the days, in college, when you enjoyed flirting, when every boy and every girl was a challenge you had to meet and overcome, that was Mercury acting, that was Mercury being experienced by you.

Mercury gives you the ability to speak, the ability to write, the ability to communicate. Each time you communicate… as I am speaking now, I am experiencing my energies that are ‘Mercurial’.

And then we come to a planet that has a very, very fond place in my heart because my Divine Teacher, Jade Fire, is the logos of this planet, and that’s Venus. And this is a planet that teaches us how to love. Every time you turn around and say I love you, you are experiencing being Venus. Every time you turn to someone and say: I know you’ve done something, which you’re not happy with, which I’m not happy with either, but I love you irrespective,  and that will never stop…each time there is unconditional love, there’s no judgment and no criticism, it’s Venus’ energies being manifest, for Venus is all about acceptance, surrender to who you are. If you can surrender to who you are, you will instantly accept the differences of all. Every time you hold yourself and say: I love me, I am beautiful. I love me, I am Divine Power. I love me, I am Divine Grace, the Venus energies in you, expand to their fullest potential, and this expansion is radiated outwards, for if you can honestly believe that in spite of your human frailties, in spite of your several flaws, you are still beautiful, you are still power-filled, you will never judge another again, for you can see that Divine Power does not need you to be ‘perfect’, in some twisted, conditioned definition of ‘perfection’. Divine Love does not need you to be always right. Divine Grace is most apparent when you have fallen and failed, but forgave yourself enough to try again. If you can acknowledge that, in self, is it possible not to acknowledge that in someone else? And that’s the Venus in you.

And then you come to a planet that is, in fact, the reason that you live and act every day: Mars. If you were not Mars, if you did not manifest ‘Martial’ energy, you would not be able to do a single thing, for the energy of Mars is the energy of action. When you feel a thrill, a passion, a compulsion, an inner urging, an inner prodding, to do something, even if it is out of rebellion, it is your Martian energy. It gives you the power to make a movement. As I move my hand, I am actually experiencing Mars. When you are depressed, when you are sometimes caught in that cyclonic whirlwind of depression, which try as you might, just seems to suck you in and pull you into its darkness, what you’re experiencing is a fading of Martian energy. If you can now understand this, each time you are feeling lethargic, each time you want to do something but you cannot find that strength to do it and therefore opt to stay in a bad habit because it’s just too much effort to get out of it, why instantly connect to the Mars that’s within you.

You will ask me now, how will I connect? Mars resides in your solar plexus. Touch your solar plexus and strongly visualize a red ball. I’m saying red because we have been conditioned to believe that Mars is the red planet. We don’t have to be right or wrong. It’s only a visualization that’s going to be a catalyst. So visualize this red ball, feel it. Whenever you do an exercise, don’t let it be intellectual one, don’t let it be something you have read about in a book, don’t let it be something someone has told you to do. It will never work. Let it become a reality….so when you are touching the red ball, it must be a real, vibrant ball that you are touching. Through the palms of your hands, allow the energy to flow into you, into your physical. We don’t want it to flow through your emotions, we don’t want it flowing to our mental body, because if I am feeling lethargic, if I don’t have my physical strength, I need my physical body empowered by my own Martian energy to flow through the physical body through the palms of your hands. And you will find, if it is a reality for you, which it should be because only then is it effective, your palms will get really hot and you will instantly begin to feel a surge of physical energy. And you can do this for any ‘body’ that is a little bit low: it can be your mental body, which means you are just so confused, your thoughts are not flowing and somehow (and it happens quite often) when we most need help and we call up people, they are just not there: either their phone is busy or they are in a meeting or out on a holiday. Why? The Mars within you is telling you: experience me. You are Mars. Why do you need help right now? We can do it. So if it’s the mental body, allow the energy of Mars to go through your physical…it must always go through your physical first. The Mars energy is a very physical energy so let it go, through your physical, into the mental. But none of us know our mental body; we know it’s there but we truly don’t quite know where it is. Is it inside, outside, somewhere in between, higher than this, lower than this? OK! So we don’t know where it is, but we do know that the 3rd eye is the opening to the mental body. And Mars is going through my physical so it has to touch my 3rd eye. So from your hands, you train it up to the 3rd eye and allow it to penetrate. If it is the opening of your mental body, then the Mars energy is instantly streaming into your mental body.

Similarly, with your emotional body: you don’t know where it is but you do know that the heart chakra is the opening of your emotional body. There is one more opening to the mental body, which you can access, which I’ll tell you a little later. So, if it’s the emotional body that is truly depressed; you are caught in loss, in death, in grief, in separation, allow the Mars energy to strengthen, empower, your emotional body. From the palms of your hand, train the energy into your heart chakra; that’s all you need to do. Why? Because it’s your own energy. It’s not an outside energy which you are accessing, and the red ball, which is your catalyst, is only a visual catalyst, which helps you to see your energy, which otherwise, you cannot ‘see’. That’s the reason why we do visualizations. It’s only a visual catalyst.

As I said: there is another opening to your mental body and that’s this, if you put your finger there, there is this tiny little depression at the base of your skull, where your forefinger seems to fit in very easily. And there is a reason why your forefinger fits in so easily. It’s attached to your mental body. Place one hand on this visual catalyst of the red ball and another hand (the right hand), forefinger on the nape, in that little hollow or depression and just allow the flow to start. What does this do, as opposed to the 3rd eye here? When there is a subject that you want to learn for e.g. esoteric astrology, all you need to do is sit like this. When you touch this hollow at the nape of your neck, you are accessing the higher reaches of the mind, where the knowledge of esoteric astrology or numerology or graphology or any logy that you want to study is already present; IS ALREADY PRESENT. When you do this, you ‘hear’ the manifested reality of the energy that you already have, so the words that are falling onto your ears are quickly connecting to your own wisdom, that you hold in the higher reaches of your mind and instantly, the translation, the interpretation, the explanation, is coming back for you.

If only we could teach our children these things, if only; then a child wondering what mathematics is all about, would have no burden. But our schools are still not ready to teach our children that they are the Universe, for there is no text book yet written about that, and teachers, without text books, are very scared of failure, so we don’t teach our children that every energy lies within them.

And then we come to a beautiful planet: so generous, so compassionate, so giving: Jupiter. Throw your minds back; all of us have experienced this energy. The times when you have been happy just to give and give, and get nothing in return, you have manifested Jupiter. The times when your home has been small, physically, but your heart has been large and all-embracing, and you have kept your doors open and said: come in and take shelter; take wisdom, take nourishment, take anything that you need. The times when you have not held back, but shared everything that you have (I agree those times are not as common-placed as they should be, but we’ve all experienced them) we have experienced ourselves as Jupiter.

And then we experience ourselves as Jupiter in a more physical way, which truly speaking, we wish we didn’t: when you put on weight!!! (Pointing to someone) (Laughter) And that’s really not a joke because in Y’s chart, Jupiter is very strong; that’s what makes him really giving, sharing. I still look at him in wonder, after so many years of being married to him. He’ll sit patiently to the woes of the barber whom he has just met, exchanges so much vital energy with all in complete compassion, because Y is Jupiter. So every time you put on weight and bulk, that is truly Jupiter energy manifesting in the physical.

Let me explain why and how: all of us put on weight as a shield. When there is a lot of emotional trauma, emotional pain, the physical body instantly knows I will not be able to handle this much, so I have to go into a defence mode. What do our soldiers do, if they are being attacked? They put a shield in front of them. That is what your physical body does, because Jupiter gives you that compassion towards yourself.

We all tell ourselves, at some point in time, I hate myself. But that’s not the truth; it really is not the truth, because moment to moment, beloved friends, we are doing everything to protect ourselves. Someone receives the news of a horrible death and faints. Why? The mind is protecting itself from the shock waves of energy hitting it, and knows it needs to disconnect, temporarily, in order to avoid physical problems. And why do we protect ourselves? Because WE DO LOVE OURSELVES. We DO because somewhere deep within us, we all know we are the Universe. But in the daily grind, in the conditioned beliefs, in the accepting of truths of others, we sometimes lose touch with that vital spot within us and we begin to play a game with ourselves and say: I hate myself. I don’t love myself. You cannot help but love yourself, and putting on weight is the body’s way of shielding you, because you love yourself. And then there are those who do not have the propensity for putting on weight. The body has no shield and those lose weight; they become skin and bone; you can see on their face, that there is something literally eating them up because try as it might, the Jupiter energy is not available to them, to protect them, protect the body. Why? Because of planetary positions in their charts!!

And then we come to Saturn, the planet often blamed for the woes in your life. And that’s right; that is absolutely right. But let’s understand this from a positive perspective. The Saturn energy, within you, is the energy of creation. Now that’s something you didn’t know! Whatever you create in your life, good, bad, indifferent or ugly, you are manifesting, experience living Saturn energy. Now, what is the thing humanity most desires? No! Not love, not happiness, not peace. EVOLUTION! That is what humanity most desires. We desire joy, happiness, peace, love, money only because these are the stepping stones towards that final goal of evolution. But at a very real level, you don’t desire the intermittent goal; you desire the final goal and there is not a single life form (and I’m not using the word human beings), there is not a single life form, created on Earth, that does not desire evolution. That is why, the seed grows into a tree; that is why the child grows into a young man, because it is manifesting its ultimate goal for evolution.

Having this ultimate goal of evolution, you use the Saturn energies to create situations, to create people, to create conditions, which will take you to that final goal. So, if you need to be sick in order to evolve, then you will create a condition of being sick. Let me give you a personal example: I think sometimes my Mars energy gets very strong and I will execute and continue working and pushing myself, knowing all the time that I need to take a break, which I’m not doing, so the Saturn energy, which is also ‘me’, says: All right! Let’s create a situation where you can very ‘comfortably’ take a break. So, fall sick. Three days you are in bed and can’t do anything. You need that time to do whatever it is you need to do in order to evolve.

But what happens with murder and rape and sexual abuse and death and losing one’s child? What happens then? The same thing! The same thing! You create that with your Saturn energies because you know that through this situation you will evolve. You know, friends, when you are the solar system, you are far larger than your conditioned mind. The Universe that you are, is not deterred by, does not fear these, what it considers, petty challenges. It is the physical mind that fears it. But in those moments, when our physical mind threatens to take away the power of the Universe from us, let us remind ourselves: I am the solar system. I am the Universe. What I am experiencing is only a short phase, helping me to boost my evolution speed.
And you do it with Saturn: you create the joys with Saturn, you create the troubles with Saturn, so yes, Saturn does create the troubles in your life, but because you are using the energies of Saturn to manifest and make real your ultimate goal for evolution.

And then we have Uranus. We have all experienced Uranus, time and time again, globally. Remember the time when you and I were born, in an age when we all believed the earth was flat? O course we remember it…. Somewhere we remember it. Do we that belief now? No! Why? It is Uranus that gives us the energy to think in a manner that is diametrically opposite to anything we had ever thought. Remember the time when an illness, like influenza, killed people? Today, it is a petty illness that you wait to overcome, so that you can get back to work. Today’s world is different from the world of 5 years ago, and the world of 5 years ago was completely different from the world of 50 years ago. But we don’t experience that change every day, do we? Today we can easily and very, very cheaply talk to our child who is studying in the United States, and it’s a matter of fact. Ten years ago, you had to book a trunk call, hope your child would be there, then talk for 2 minutes because the bill was running up. When did this change take place? Are you and I consciously aware of it? Not at all! Why? Because the Uranus energy is working each moment through us, bringing about change.

And now this brings us to an interesting fact: why do we fear change when, in fact, we are changing each moment? The Uranus energy is radiating every moment, bringing up change; change in self, change globally, change in your consciousness, change in global consciousness. So every time, you think ‘different’, every time you dare to be different, K, every time someone looks at you and says: She is crazy, understand that your Uranus energy is very, very strong.

And then comes Neptune. We must have a link to our past, because our past has made us what we are today. We all tend to think of ourselves as this ‘one lifetime self’ but we know, intellectually we do know, that we’ve lived several lifetimes already, and that we are going to live many more. In order to have continuity, you need an energy that holds it all together. The links in the chain is our Neptune energy. So we die. Do we become nothingness? Do we become all-knowing, all-powerful, all-Divine? No, we don’t! We become spirit, and of course, as spirit, we become far more conscious than the embodied spirit. Certainly. When spirit wants to again become embodied, it must have continuity, because a lifetime is like a movie.

Haven’t you seen sometimes a badly cut movie? And you just lose track of what’s happening. Where did this actor suddenly spring up from? He wasn’t there in the last half-an-hour. If Neptune energies were not manifested and experienced, our lifetimes would be like badly cut movies; instead of which, they are a wonderful movie, all about ourselves, with the actors and actresses, the heroes, the heroines, the villains, the directors, the producers the lyricists, the songwriters, the dancers, the vamps. We are all of it. Have you ever experienced a moment in the limelight? It feels wonderful. And here you have a whole movie all about YOU. What a thrill! So you have the Neptune energy holding it together. It’s the editor; it sits in the editing room and edits the scenes properly, makes us aware that last lifetime, I had this pattern. And the pattern comes up again; it can’t suddenly disappear, because Neptune’s energy ensures its continuity. So if it comes up and you say but now I don’t want it to continue anymore, it has to be edited out of our movie in a wise and discerning manner, and for that we have Pluto.

The power of transformation and choice that you feel is the power of Pluto. And every day you experience the power of Pluto; you wake up in the morning and you decide: should I have a bowl of cereal today or a cup of coffee? The power of choice ….and that’s Pluto. From a trivial breakfast cereal to should I marry X or Y to should I just continue living in false belief or open myself to truth? Every choice is the power of Pluto. It is the choice of transformation, or the choice of continuing in ignorance. It is the choice of a complete and full ‘turn around’, or a choice of resisting every moment of change.

So you see now, you are manifesting the solar system, every single day, every single minute, and you didn’t know it. But now you are aware that when it is said: you are the universe, you truly ARE the universe.

Today we’ve spoken about the solar system. If I’m able to access the wisdom of what lies beyond our solar system and how it is still a part of us, a manifested part of us, we will learn that another day.
