The Energies of Ram

The energies of that which you have called Ram greet you.

So let us talk of this ancient legend, and this time let us understand its truth, for there was no Ram that was exiled, and there was no Raavan that was killed, and there was no Kaikeyi, and there was no Dashrath, and there was no Laxman, Bharat, or Sita…. for all of it was written, only about YOU. But there had to be a story wound around you. For the most difficult truths for you to accept are the truths about YOU….. And when truths about you have to be spoken, stories have to be spun; taking strands of your own energies, a yarn has to be created.

So let us briefly understand this festival you are just about to celebrate.

The Return of Ram, from exile, 14 years to be exact, and none questioned…. Why 14?

So there was this Prince, who was born to this father, noble and wise, brave and strong…. moment of separation from The Source…. and the Prince had brothers born of different mothers… different Monadic Rays coming into existence… Ray 1, Ray 2, Ray 3, and each Ray, now began its own creations—sons of different mothers…. and thus began human evolution. And in the course of human evolution, there came veils of forgetfulness, and thus began creation of energies---jealousy, envy, greed, selfishness—I want MY son on the throne…., and so Ram was thus sent into exile by the father. 

A father who did not rejoice at this exile, who wept bitterly, to see his son leave…. once the veils of forgetfulness were in place, Man left his Father’s Home, and went into exile into a forest, where he met his RAAVAN.

In your moments of exile you meet your own Raavan. The lower self with several heads, for in you there is one head, and in you there is one, and in you there is one, and in you there is one (Pointing to individual members of the group)…. the several heads of the Lower Self of Ram. Thus came the complete separation of Ram, the Higher Being, and Raavan, the lower being. The lower being is reflected in all the heads that Ram perceives, and as soon as Raavan destroys this head, another grows in its place, and another, and another, and another, till Ram finds out, how to destroy Raavan. But the more he fights Raavan, who has, by the way, stolen Sita…. the lower Self having completely captured the True Divine Feminine, thus blocking all creative force. 

So as Ram, battles against Raavan, in this battle he begins to know Raavan a little better. It is in the battle that each head must be killed. But Ram and Raavan come to the ultimate strike off…. the moment of crisis between Higher Self and lower self; the high road and the low road. But it took Ram 14 years of exile to return to the father’s kingdom…. 2 turns of 7 years each. Every year symbolic of one evolutionary cycle. 14 evolutionary cycles for Ram to return home.

And then who is Bharat, and who is Laxman?…… Brethren. 2 brothers, who, unlike Ram, do not personally battle Raavan. Their task is only to support through his exile. To keep his place secure. Two Higher beings that stay with you through 14 evolutionary cycles, unchanging.

And then Ram returns in Light, and that is not where the story ends, for that is where it continues. How does this illumined being still meet the challenges? Now, not of Raavan, the challenges of those around you, who provoke him, back to the state of Raavan. For there is constant instigation, and provocation. And does the illumined being understand the fullness of the Creative Power that is his? For even the most illumined beings often fail the final test and the creative force within them is unleashed. There has to be an understanding, that in Sita, there is both Ram and Sita, but Ram had to be illumined, if Sita had to be His.

Read your legends now not as stories. For what you are taught of energies and evolution, has been taught for millenniums. You are being taught what you have very rightly termed, Ancient Wisdom.  It is time now to understand the Ancient Wisdom. For wisdom remains, but you have moved from evolutionary cycle to evolutionary cycle and Ram within you is now in his 11th evolutionary cycle. You have 3 more ‘years’ before you return home, 3 more evolutionary cycles.  

But how will your Ramayana end? Have you, truly overcome Raavan? Sad to say it has become only a day of festivity, fire crackers with sound and light. When the immense, garish, paper model of Raavan falls and the Raavan in YOU still lives. For each year that you burn Raavan, one more head grows in its place. So now you are questioning, so did no man, no king really live?

And we say, Yes there was…. there was a king called Ram, a wise noble king, who was used, only to spin a story around. A story of such great depth, that it would take you years to read it, and understand it completely….and that is what is a Legend, an Epic, a Myth. The personas in the story are mythical. The energies spoken of legendary. The depth of wisdom of epic value. So this year, when you welcome Ram home, ensure that he is HOME.

As you light each candlewick, and each brilliantly radiant oil lamp, welcome Ram home. For only you can free yourself from exile. The choice of Ram and Raavan lie with you moment to moment, and the only way to kill Raavan, is not to attack him. For you cannot kill the Raavan in you by attacking the ugly head of another.

The only way to kill Raavan is for Ram to look him straight in the eye… at no other head save his own, and then use the beam of light of your 3rd Eye to enter the beam of light of the 3rd Eye of your lower Self, and Raavan is killed, never to arise again. It is when this Rainbow Bridge, which you have called ‘The Antahakarna’, when that is built, Raavan does not exist.

So joyously march back to Ayodhya, in full pomp and glory of yourself as a completely illumined being, return in light and joyous festivities to one and all.

May each lamp and candle that you light not be lit to anyone, save yourself, yourself, yourself.
