My Shades of Blue

A monk once walked up a rising ridge. He stopped where it ended. He opened his arms, took a deep breath, watched his life flash in front of him.

He remembered falling in love. With nature, with god, with himself. Then she walked up to him. A 3year old girl abandoned by her parents. He gave her refuge for next 7 years of his life.

“Pervert! Infidel! You don’t deserve to be!” he was so greeted by the others at the monastery when they found out about the girl.

They took her away from him. He couldn’t protect her from those savages.

“IF I CAN’T BE MY DIVINITY, THEN I MUSN’T BE!” he said out loud, then he jumped off the ridge and disappeared into the oblivion.

Years have passed, I am here once again. Not as a preacher, not as a leader. But as release. I am release. My Being is forever freeing.

It is now that I have realised that “I CANNOT NOT BE MY DIVINITY”, and with every breath that goes within me I acknowledge the divine in me. With every breath that I exhale, I embrace my light that surrounds me.

There is no how. There is no way. There is no sign that can remind you of your holiness. There is no how, there is no way, and there is no sign that can show you love.

“Just watch me as I unfold, I am not your destination, I am your path. I am your destiny. You will be love. You will be divinity. It is inevitable!”, She speaks to me often, as she spoke to me when I was her guardian in the monastery.

Call it grace. Call it blasphemy. I simply cannot be, without my love for thee. And I will flower, I will blossom... in reverence to all the love that you have for me.
