A Cry from the Womb

“Please Mum … don’t get rid of me…… I want you to hold me as your child in your loving arms.
I selected your womb as I loved your aura and I knew that you would love me too. I want to feel your warmth and feel safe when you hold me to your breast. I waited to be your child and followed you around till you were ready to conceive …….and now as you sit in the Dr.’s waiting room I am afraid … I am afraid that you plan to … you are being forced to…. KILL ME…. Please, please Mum dearest, think again... I know you too feel very sad... but you see no other way but to obey … alas I hear the dr. …he says your husband is right... you must terminate this pregnancy…….but do you know when you kill me I will be so miserable? …. That I will have to spend more time wandering through misery and darkness…be in limbo? And when I am eventually born again I will not be very happy as this mother was not really my first choice … which is you. In spiritual terms you will be labeled ‘a mother who killed her children’ by guides and Masters …. Oh Mum … I feel so sorry that I chose your womb … now both of us have to suffer…”

I was asked to write this piece – it was explained to me what ending a pregnancy means in the spirit realm. I myself was ‘guilty’ of this, as through ignorance I too had ended pregnancies – as my husband was not keen to have more than two children and I too having started out on my own felt that more children would mean shutting shop. Also as I had both my children by Caesarian surgery the doctor advised that it was not advisable to have children within a short time (though my sister in the same situation had four kids with no adverse effect). The other argument made by the Gynecologist was that we educated Indians must practice Family Planning to control the population!

I have written this to caution young couples who due to family or economical pressures may be contemplating ending unwanted pregnancies and are ignorant about the impact on their soul. Do not be hasty about terminating the pregnancy. Be aware of the impact of your action on your soul.
