I choose what I am….and that is my POWER!!!

THIS is the essence of manifestation…. the power to choose, moment to moment, that which you desire and that which you wish to reject.

As Spirit we are ALL, but as Embodied Spirit we CHOOSE to manifest aspects of the ALL as and when we desire. Why else would you, Divine Spirit, take embodiment?

Why does Spirit choose to take on a form that seems so inversely proportionate to itself? In order to experience the joyous thrill of deliberate, will-full choice!

Then, isn’t it sad, that we seldom dare to choose? That we permit our flow and direction to be set and changed by circumstances over which we believe we have no control? There was a time when the Universe, in its omniscience, permitted spiritual teachers and prophets to lead us out of the darkness of our ignorance. But the Light has illumined us now, and honour of Self urges us to acknowledge our enlightenment by re-claiming our power and our Essential Divinity.

The Essence of Divinity lies in its power to CREATE, and thus Manifestation is not a gift or a boon that we receive, but a Divine Right. It is a right as meaningful as our right to freedom, our right to equality, and our right to free expression. It seems ironic that we fight so hard for these rights, but have not acknowledged the basic right from which all others arise.

The words I AM have a tremendous force and power, but there are two other words that make the power of I AM seem insignificant, and these are the words I CHOOSE. When you affirm I AM you inform the Universe of your intellectual realization of that which you are as Spirit, and the Universe is joyous to acknowledge this realization. But in this, there is no choice made to manifest in embodiment that which you are as Spirit. As a result, you are still entrapped in the conflicts and pains and imbalances, which are a natural part and parcel of the human experience.

If you wish to experience your humanness without getting ‘caught’ in its seeming separation from Spirit, you have to CHOOSE it to be so. When you affirm I Choose, the Universe bows to your Divine Right to command it, and serves your Will with Munificent Grace and Eternal Joy. Each time you CHOOSE, you affirm Masterhood, Divine Power, Re-Cognition of your Godhood. The words I Am relate purely and completely to your Spiritness, and thus your humanness does not experience their power as much as you would like to. The words I Choose relate to the Divine Spirit that is experiencing life on Earth, and thus instantly translates into the form you have taken in the Here and the Now.

I AM helps you to REMEMBER that which you are, I CHOOSE helps you to BE that which you are. This is what Free Will is all about.

Free Will lies dormant when the lower conscious mind uses its ability in order to look outwards, and condemn, and judge and pass opinion. Free Will actualizes when the Higher Mind chooses to condemn smallness in self, judging your own human experience so that it aligns with Divine Spirit, and opining about personal growth, and servitude either to the physical or to Divinity. Free Will is not about setting the external ‘straight’; Free Will is about choosing to align your ‘mask’ with your Inner Beauty.  Its eye looks inwards so that in its vision it can only embrace that which you are. 

When you are ready to take on the responsibility of making CHOICES, when you are ready to get off the blame wagon, then you are ready to Manifest.
The first step towards this is surrender to your humanness. You have to LOVE the human experience that brings you the challenge to choose between hate and love, between fear and power, between intolerance and embrace, between discrimination and acceptance. When you surrender to this humanness, you stop resisting parts of you that you find distasteful to behold, and thus are able to make choices in FULL AWARENESS, without guilt, shame and recrimination.

When you have thus surrendered, you envision. Envision ALL the choices available to you, and all the consequences and results. Always envision that which is positive. If, for example, you do not desire to be ‘poor’, then envision yourself wealthy, generous, fulfilled, and content. When you focus on that which you do not desire, you give it your power to be even stronger.  It is your focus that moulds your reality.

Now, consciously translate this ‘seeing’ into ‘knowing’ by verbalizing to yourself the vision. Be careful at this stage not to use words that carry blame and criticism of the external. Understand that only SELF is involved in Manifestation.

As you speak these words, FEEL their energies as they course through you. Which energies expand you and delight you; make you feel ‘light’, comforted, relieved? Which bring on apprehension, doubt, fear, anger, suspicion? The choice is instantly clear.

Now that there is clarity you are ready to CHOOSE by firmly making an intention. You can thus intend e.g.  I Choose Health, I Choose to honour my Truth, I Choose Abundance. Feel no shame in choosing purely material things like money, success, harmonious relationships. You are Spirit having a human experience, so naturally many of your choices will be HUMAN!!!

Once intention has been declared to the Universe, be in constant awareness in order to monitor the response of the Universe. Sometimes the signs are obvious and ‘tangible’, but often they are subtle, and thus slip by unnoticed. This process of monitoring is vital as the Universe, in its full and unconditional service to you, may sometimes ask you to reconsider your ‘intention’, if it should, from its exalted position, observe that the manifestation of this intention will lead to an unneeded layover in your journey.

When you become aware of this Universal urging, understand that you are being gently guided towards alignment. The goal needs to be modified so that it aligns with your Divine Purpose, which All-Knowing Spirit Being is fully conscious of, but which Embodied Spirit has chosen to feign unconsciousness of, so that it might be a completely realized ‘human’ Being. 

When this re-alignment is complete, manifestation IS. Then all that is left for you to do is to enjoy in gratitude, that which you have created in joy.
