When Truth Hurts

When Truth hurts, the only solace is in self embrace
When Truth hurts, the only place to heal is within
When Truth hurts, bow your head
Not in the shame of the Truth, but in acknowledgement
Of the honour of its unfolding.

The World at your feet

When the world lies at your feet,
Look down
With the humility of your vastness!
Swell not in empty vanity
Or boast your colourful feathers
That have been painted by the wonderful hues
Of those who waited upon their journey
So that you may climb!!
