Musings In the Mountains

∞Majesty dwells in the mountains…the snowy peaks announcing that God is Home.
∞Driving behind another up a torturous mountain road is easier; you ride on the heightened awareness of the driver who leads. That is why God created Masters.
∞Safety comes through the vision of the driver. His vision takes the blind turn first, the bus merely following the path it has set.
∞No network access is needed on the mountains; Spirit communicates freely.
∞God speaks: In the face of the mountains, I see my magnificence; in their undulation lies my gentleness, in their peaks my towering presence, in their stillness my dignity. Ah! Will I create anything more splendid, I wonder?
∞The hunger of the stomach can be appeased; how do I satisfy my soul that constantly thirsts for more?
∞The valleys provide testimony that the mountains stand united in their distinctness.
∞How effortlessly we trust our lives into the hands of a stranger who drives us up impossibly steep slopes, and how reluctantly we steer our own lives.
∞From high up all appears small; to see loftiness in all around me I must necessarily be on low ground. Ego, my friend, do you hear?
∞All around me I see only beauty; to another just one more mountain to climb. I bow in gratitude to my vision.
∞Power lies neither in size nor in formidable appearance for the puny man has carved roads into the rockiest mountain. Ahh, but then I ponder, whose power is greater, man with the might of his blast or the mountain that stands in silent surrender? |
