What an empowering statement this is! It places within our reach all the dreams we dare to dream. So, dearest friends, what is this empowering process termed ‘recognition’?

Recognition is cognitive understanding and knowing that which you are. It means to KNOW your potential…..again. No, let us not hurry over this one, dear friend. Let us understand this very clearly.

As Spirit we already know ALL, but as Embodied Spirit we choose not to remember ALL. In the course of our ‘growing’, there come times when we choose to remember significant parts of that which we had veiled from the ‘knowing reaches’ of our lower conscious mind. This remembrance comes through re-cognition. This moment of ‘knowing again’ is a vital moment as it is a moment of self-responsibility….Embodied Spirit taking the responsibility of unveiling that which Spirit had chosen to veil.

Before we elaborate upon this, let us understand WHAT it is that you, beloved Embodied Spirit, choose to unveil. You choose to unveil your potential to yourself…you wish to KNOW all that you ARE. You wish to re-cognize your strengths, your limitless capacities, your reach across the Universe. The process of recognition is important because it is completely conscious and self-motivated. It is a process of uncovering layers of your self and seeing YOU through a vision that is clear of preconceived beliefs and prejudicial critical thought.

The process of recognition does not have any place for the uncovering of weakness and flaws. Why? Because, beloved Spirit, you have none! The belief of flaws lies in the thought pattern that focuses upon your lack, your impotencies, your powerlessness. With such a belief system in place, how can you give due recognition to yourself? It is because of this belief system that ‘I am flawed’ that you look outwards for recognition and never find it satisfying or complete.

Then, is recognition ‘blind’ and rose-spectacled’? Not at all!! In fact, it is the most truthful look at self. It uncovers all in COMPLETE TRUTH. And yet, it does so, without the filter of a flawed belief system.

Let us see how this works. Assume, my beautiful spirit aspect, that you are facing conflicts in relationships. What will recognition make you aware of? The fact that you have an immense ability for Love and Compassion but are unable to exercise it due to some hidden fears. Failure in business? The fact that you have a wealth of Divine Abundance within you lying untapped because you just did not KNOW that you had it!!! Lonely and adrift? The fact that you have Herculean strength which you are not aware of because your gaze is trained outwards. Scared to speak your truth? The fact that you are a messenger of Divine Wisdom whose moment of expression is NOW. Feeling rejected, friendless, unacknowledged? The fact that you are a strong hub of Power that has to radiate this energy outwards in order to selflessly serve and empower others. Trapped in dis-ease and ill-health? The fact that you are Spirit which is eternal, whole, complete.

Yes, I see that you now understand how recognition uncovers truths for you. The more you strive for this conscious recognition, the easier your life flows, because you are then flowing with Spirit, rather than resisting it with your personality, which is a result of conditioning, belief systems, narrow attitudes,  and half assimilated truths. When you recognize, KNOW AGAIN in the full consciousness of all levels of your existence, ALL that you ARE, you will face the vicissitudes of this material world with the ease of an innocent child that laughs in delight even as it falls because it has experienced its ability to stand on its own.

When you wait for external recognition, you give away your power to others. Like a puppet you must wait till the puppeteer should will to pull your strings. Is this who you really are?

KNOW yourself again….consciously. Make a choice to unveil all Truth so that you can see your SELF as the Radiant Beacon of Light come into this world to enrich it, entice it, bewitch it.
