When sharing is our inner most need why are we so hesitant about giving in to it? Is it because some of our ‘truths’ we judge as being so heinous that were others to know them, we fear they would not accept us?  But, dearest friend, when our inner thoughts and feelings become uncharitable, critical, judgmental and ‘small’, we must understand that they have become corrupted by the unassimilated and unacknowledged energies lying within us; they are not ‘truths’ any more. 

‘Truth’ does not have a quality that can be described by the use of an adjective. It is not a good truth or a bad truth… it just IS Truth. When a further layer of our soul’s journey unfolds to us, it is a moment that I like to call the First Truth. The First Truth has no quality to it; it is a realization that been permitted to you, by your own Higher Energies removing a thin veil from your inner vision. This, in itself, is a moment of glory as your Higher Energies have discerned your expansion and KNOW that now you are strong enough, powerful enough, to ‘see’ that which was deliberately hidden from you earlier. The First Truth is a joyous moment as it brings with it the opportunity to acknowledge a part of you that you were earlier too scared to bring into conscious reality. Now it has come up for ‘real-ization’!

How can we real-ize the First Truth? By the process of sharing…..as simple as that. First we share it with ourselves, by allowing the subtle consciousness of the First Truth to become the fully aware consciousness of the mind. If this is completely experienced, it will not lead to any corruption. But, if you fight against the First Truth, and insist on ‘pretending’ that the veil still exists, the energies of the First Truth will become corrupted by this resistance and will change into pain, anger, resentment, self-pity or hatred. Thus Truth turns into corrupted feelings which are even more difficult to acknowledge and express due to their sheer tangible intensity.

When the Truth is completely acknowledged by you, there is no hesitation in sharing it with others, in voicing it, even in the face of disagreement. But sadly, more often than not, we are aware of the Truth only when it has become corrupted feeling, and thus need to work backwards towards the Truth.

Let me explain how, by sharing with you a personal experience. As most of are wont to do, I allowed the subtle consciousness of the First Truth to slip by me, preferring to dwell in the illusory comfort of ‘not knowing’. This resistance on my part corrupted the First Truth which turned into the virulent force of hate and rage. Before it was too late, my own Divine Wisdom prevailed and I acknowledged the resistance I had put up. Now I had to search my soul and discover the First Truth that I had resisted. By closely studying my feelings and the situation that I had created externally, I was able to discover the First Truth of personal powerlessness which I completely ‘shared’ with my self, with my conscious awareness, expressing it clearly in words and terms I could best understand. Dearest friend, I fulfilled my most fundamental need, and so here I am, self-assured and comfortable, sharing my Truth with you. During this process, I exercised my fundamental need by talking to my closest friends of the corrupted feelings, and thus freed myself of their stranglehold.

Understand, dearest, dearest friend, that what you fear to voice is NOT the Truth; it is the corruption. But, even this must be acknowledged, must be spoken. Why? It is in the sharing, in the physical act of speaking, of writing, that the energy of the corruption is brought to the ‘LIGHT’ and you are free forever.
Do not agree to be a prisoner of your own corruption. No prison cell that you find yourself in, is constructed by anyone but YOU. Understand that the cell in which you are, is not locked and has no key. The door only needs a slight nudge from you to fly open.  This ‘nudge’ lies in your exercising the basic need to talk to someone. This act of sharing works in two ways simultaneously. It helps you to break the chains you have placed around yourself, and it gives you access to the stronger energies of a friend to give the door a nudge.

Do not think, beloved friend, that the corruption can be held within you, unexpressed, forever. There comes a moment when the volcano bursts within and the lava spills out, burning you and all else in its path. And this is not the same as sharing; the volcano has only released the ‘overflow’; the lava still simmers within. 

Communication of First Truth (and the corrupted feelings) is a balanced and harmonious process, which neither harms self, nor feels the need to hurt another. Its tone may be firm, certainly, but is never aggressive; may be gentle, but never submissive.

Beloved friend, choose to live a FREE human being. Say NO to prison cells!! Come out and experience the radiance of the Light. In its clarity you will see how beautiful you are, how pure, how strong, how untainted by the harsh experiences of growth. When you wish to keep hidden from the eyes of self and others what you so wrongly perceive as ‘ugliness’, you only end up depriving the world of your Divinity and Beauty. The world is starving, dearest, dearest friend, and your Truth is the sustenance it needs. Open your mouth, and let the music of your Truth stream forth in joyous rapture… for Truth needs no validation but its own power.
