Big changes are coming. As Uranus, the planet that shakes things up, moves from grounded and steady Taurus into quick-thinking and highly changeable Gemini in July 2025, humanity enters a whole new era. This change is given more fuel by Jupiter’s movement into Cancer, Saturn in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius. Together, these planets are sending strong messages about what needs to change in our lives, and in our world.

Since 2018, Uranus has been in Taurus, a sign that loves comfort and stability. But Uranus, being the planet of surprise, rebellion, and invention, has shown us over the last few years significant changes in how we handle money (e.g.cryptocurrency, and UPI), and what we value. We have had to rethink what really makes us feel ‘safe’ and ‘successful.’
Now, Uranus is in the very last degree of Taurus, giving a powerful, final push. It's like the ground is rumbling one last time before it breaks open and something new emerges. (Many geophysicists and seismologists have recently been talking of an imminent earthquake or tsunami or both. Astrologically, this fits in with the deep, strong, rumbles that we are already hearing from the planets.) Many are feeling unsettled, reacting in ways they may have strongly concealed in the past. This is because they’re being asked to let go of old habits, patterns, attachments that no longer serve a productive end.
In early July, Uranus moves into Gemini. While Taurus is about the body and physical substance, Gemini is about the mind, communication, technology, and ideas. This shift means, both, breakthroughs and huge shakeups in education, social media, travel, transportation, and how we share information and communicate with each other. It brings into awareness how authentically (or not) we reveal who and what we are, what we truly believe in, and how we feel.
We can also expect fast-moving changes in connections and relationships. Not only personal ones, but global ones. Allies becoming enemies. Enemies becoming temporary allies. Connections that appear to be one thing, when in truth there is a hidden agenda at play. Use of artificial intelligence is going to rise very rapidly. Whether that’s good or not good for the world shall depend upon the intention of the user.
We can expect mass rebellion against centralised control, dictatorship, harsh authority, and so on. These could show up as escalation of the wars we are already encountering, and maybe new ones emerging. Overall, things may move so fast that we are likely to feel overwhelmed, confused, disoriented, scattered. Don’t let Truth get lost in the noise! Do whatever it takes for you to remain centred. Bach Flower Remedies, and a blend of EFT and Ho'o'ponopono that I’ve created for myself, help me tremendously.
What are the lessons for each of us? Stay centred. Redefine ‘peace’. Practice self-awareness. Let go of the pretences. Only when you know yourself, can you be self-empowered. Only when you are not ashamed, can you reveal your true face to the world. Do not distract yourself so much with work (even if it is healing work) that you have no time to address the realities that you harbour within.
While Uranus shakes up our thinking (and definitely our lives), Jupiter, the planet of beneficence, growth and wisdom, moves through Cancer, a sign that's all about home, family, emotional anchorage, and nurturance. Through the hard-hitting shifts of Uranus and Saturn, Jupiter urges us to be kind, tolerant, inclusive, and to stay connected. Not only with those whom we love, but with ourselves as well. The first step towards unconditional love is the commitment towards self-love. As Uranus in Gemini shall compel us to unravel the deep truths that lie within us, Jupiter asks you to love all parts of you. Even as you release what you may no longer desire to harbour within you, do this lovingly. My latest mantra is ‘I have nothing to fix. I am becoming the light I have always been. And am.’
Jupiter in Cancer asks us to delve into clearing ancestral karma, to heal cultural and ideological wounds and traumas, to gently understand and heal the deep ‘feminine’ wound that lies within all, women and men. Focus upon emotional healing, hold a safe space for yourself and others, and care for yourself and other people. Jupiter reminds us to lead with the heart. While Uranus enables mindset shifts, Jupiter asks for the human heart to awaken.
Saturn plays its no small part in this restructuring of ourselves and our world. Saturn, transiting through Aries, commands: “Go for it. Redefine ‘power. Rise into it.” Stop following the herd. Take responsibility, trust your instincts. In short, Saturn shall push us to GROW UP. Emotional and spiritual maturity are Saturn’s goal for us. And if you know Saturn, then you know that Saturn attains its goals! Come what may. It’s not about how hard it has to push itself (and us): it’s about making sure the goal is reached.
Saturn in Aries will certainly be a test of courage. With the shifts that are underway, we shall need to be brave, to take positive and decisive action, to stop procrastinating, but also to be discerning, thoughtful and patient. Focus upon the long-term, as the short- term brings delays and frustrations like maybe never before. Take action, make the efforts, be committed, and be prepared to face challenges and grow stronger through them. And do not lose sight of your long-term goals.
Conflict shall arise. It always does when the new order pushes out the old one. This can manifest as nationalism or territorial assertion, military posturing, sweeping (and almost overnight) policy changes.
The big shall have to move to give space to the small. And it is likely to start with changes in the business and economic arenas. Startups, self-made entrepreneurs, and innovation driven services for the betterment of humanity shall be encouraged and supported by the planets. Large corporations that continue malpractices and follow selfish agendas will certainly be forced into restructuring, or closing their doors. We’ve already seen these changes taking place; we shall see more of the same. Governments and institutions that rush into impulsive action (or reaction) could face very serious consequences. And, of course, the same goes for us as well.
It is time to take charge of our destinies; to do so with maturity, and long-term commitment. Pluto, the planet of deep transformation, houses itself in Aquarius till 2043-4. This is big! Pluto is here to tear down old systems that no longer work, and plant seeds for a new, more fair and more inclusive world. Pluto digs deep. It brings up the hidden, the unconscious, the darkness - anything that is held secretly within. As it does this, struggle follows, in personal lives, and on a wider scale. Pluto's duty is to reveal what needs to change, and nothing can deter it. It is as strong-willed as Saturn. Rebuild better. Nothing more and nothing less. Pluto encourages collective effort so if you feel inclined to join institutions and organisations that align with your values, this is the time to do so. And play an active part is facilitating the change.
Pluto and Saturn help each other to bring about the collapse of outdated systems that no longer serve humanity as a whole (political, economic, education, medical, business, et al). This can occur through global uprisings and mass movements that are truly transformational, and not ego driven. Technology (read AI) shall play a very big role, and its use shall slowly turn from selfish and greed based to unselfish and charitable.
As the changes intensify, fear, manipulation, exploitation, and harsh control can also become stronger. There’s every chance of greater social fragmentation before there is unification. We must hold ourselves strong through these events. We must continue to remember ‘nothing happens to us; everything happens for us.’ Hold space for your fear, and hold space for others. Heal yourself and your inner darkness, if you wish to be of any value to another.
The planets are helping our world to evolve - not just the outer world, but the inner one as well. Why does this evolution come through so much conflict, you may question. Because our planet, and humanity, have chosen to evolve with the impetus of the Cosmic Ray 4 - the Ray of Harmony Through Conflict. So let’s stop the futile resistance and useless questioning. Instead let’s ask of ourselves “What future do I wish for the world? What am I willing to let go of to make that real?"
This moment asks us to
· start the change from within
· stay thoughtful and emotionally grounded
· lead with courage while staying kind and inclusive
· build something that truly supports everyone
We have reached a turning point. We cannot turn back now. The old ways are already falling apart. Yes, that can be scary, but it is also our chance to create something new. A world that's smarter, kinder, braver, and more connected.
What a great time to be alive! We're not just watching this happen. We're part of it. We're the ones who will shape what comes next. Be excited! Be present!
