Revive, Release, Rise – Soul CPR That Brings You Back to Life

 ---EllaeenahJadeFire

There are days when your energy feels scattered, your heart heavy, your purpose blurred. You may look fine on the outside, but inside, something feels disconnected — from yourself, from your truth, from life itself. When we think of CPR, we often imagine a life-saving technique used in emergencies. But what if we could apply the same idea to those times when we feel stuck, stagnant, emotionally "flatlined."

This is where a different kind of CPR comes in — not for your physical body, but for your inner being. A conscious pause. A moment to return to your centre. Let’s redefine CPR as a 3-part spiritual technique to revive your soul:

C – Consciousness: Awaken from Auto-Pilot

Awareness is the beginning of transformation.” — Eckhart Tolle

Are you sleepwalking through life — repeating yesterday’s patterns with today’s breath? If so, your soul is waiting for you to deepen your consciousness. Consciousness is not just awareness — it is the ability to witness your own thoughts. It’s the silent space between reaction and response, where true choice lives. In this space, you are no longer a product of programming. There is clarity. Clarity is the foundation of self-development. Without clarity, we’re just drifting.

Who are you becoming?

What do you really want?

Why does this matter?

Start by asking these questions. Journal. Reflect. When you know where you’re headed, every step becomes intentional.

 Technique: The 3-Second Pause

Each time you feel triggered, overwhelmed, or emotionally reactive, pause and

Breathe in for 5 seconds.

Become aware: What am I feeling? What story am I telling myself just now?

Choose: Is this my truth or a reaction from fear, habit, or ego?

This micro-moment of mindfulness begins rewiring your nervous system to respond from your higher self rather than continue in survival mode.

Journal Before Bedtime:

Where in my day today did I operate on auto-pilot? What would my awakened being have chosen instead?

P – Purification: Release What No Longer Serves You

You must let go of who you were to become who you are.” — Carl Jung

Self-development isn’t just about adding more or being a changed version — it’s also about clearing the clutter. Emotional clutter. Mental chatter. False roles we’ve convinced ourselves we must play.  We carry so much that was never ours — inherited fears, old shame, the weight of unspoken expectations.

Purification isn’t about perfection; it’s about releasing what no longer resonates with who you're becoming. Growth isn’t linear. You will hit walls, doubts, and distractions. But persistence is what separates those who merely dream, from those who do. Whether it’s building a habit, healing from past trauma, or pursuing a goal — keep going. Especially when it’s hard, keep going!

Technique: Energy Drain Detox

What emotional or energetic weight do you need to release? Write down what you’re ready to release on a slip of paper. Offer it to the fire. Burn it (safely).

As the smoke rises, affirm:

“I return this energy of ---- to the fire . I am free.”

Journal Before Bedtime:

Write

3 things that drained your energy

3 things that nourished your soul

Then answer this question:

What can I release, and say ‘No’ to tomorrow?

Remember this when you wake up, and take it with you into the day.  Energy management leads to soul alignment. What you allow into your energy space, you become.

R – Resurrection: Reclaim the Lost Parts of You

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”— C.S. Lewis

Resurrection is devotion to self. It’s the quiet return to a part of yourself you’ve buried, suppressed. You don’t have to rebuild yourself overnight. You just need to begin again – one step at a time. There are parts of you that have been buried beneath fear, doubt, or disappointment. But the soul remembers how to rise. Again and again, if necessary.

Your past is not a prison. Grow something sacred from it.

Take time to pause, assess, and adjust.

  • What worked this week?

  • What didn’t?

  • What can I do better?

Self-awareness fuels growth. Make reflection a regular part of your week, even if it’s just 10 minutes a day.

Technique: Soul Retrieval Walk

Go for a walk alone. Preferably leave your phone behind. Contemplate on this:

What part of me / what dream have I silenced, buried, or abandoned?

Has its suppression enriched my life in any way?

What can I do to make it feel safe enough to return?

What am I prioritising over myself?

Notice how the trees release leaves to grow new ones, the way flowers bloom without apology for what they are, how they look or how they smell.  At the end of your contemplation, on your way back home, let your footsteps ring out this affirmation - “I am not starting over. I am returning wiser.”

Each day, ask yourself:

  • C – Am I awake and aware, or reacting from old patterns?

  • P – What can I release today to return to my truth?

  • R – What sacred part of me wants to rise?

Come back to Consciousness

Commit to Purification

Allow quiet Resurrection
