A new age is being born. A new chapter of consciousness. And spirit demands action.
About every couple thousand years, the collective focus changes to accommodate the evolving consciousness. 2026 is one such year, marking a new kind of humanity trying to be born. A humanity less controlled by fear, less dependent on external validation, more aware of truth. We are leaving an age of illusion, and entering an age of exposure. Neptune has been in Aries since January 2026, and has come into Aries after 160 years. It shall be here for 14 years, bringing in, and establishing, a new civilisation. A new age of consciousness. (For those of you history buffs, you might find it interesting to find out how civilisation changed 160 years ago, and the many events that accompanied the change. And may be go back even more into the past…what about around 320 years ago?)
Neptune brings a dissolution of the ego, and the rising of the soul. Aries focuses on personal identity. Together, they mark the end of passive spirituality.
Neptune shapes our ideals, our illusions, our longing for meaning, our spiritual hunger, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and why we are here. With Neptune in Aries, the depth of that understanding changes profoundly. We cannot be passive any longer. We shall not be allowed to, as Neptune opens the era of ‘living truth’. This means that we move from mere talk to very real action … no escapism, no fantasizing.
With Neptune in Aries, the important questions to be answered are:
How do we translate our beliefs into action? How do we become accountable and responsible for our spirituality?
We have to stop idealising, stop imagining or dreaming about the ‘perfect’ world, and begin to live our personal lives in alignment with that envisioned goal. Where there is lack of coherence between our talk and our actions, that ‘performance’ is going to be exposed very quickly. And very undeniably.
Neptune in Aries introduces a spiritual fire into the collective psyche. This often leads to upsurge in activism that seeks to expose areas where power was abused, where truth was manipulated, where people were lied to or suppressed, where systems were built on control rather than consciousness, and where success was gained by greed and power control. This can lead to a powerful awakening of a strong consciousness.
If you feel called to start on a new path, to live more truthfully, to leave roles that feel false to you, you know that this transit is supporting your search for meaning and purpose. Yes, this shift can feel uncomfortable, but I urge you to gather spiritual courage so that your action is rooted in conscience, giving you the renewed energy to stand alone, if necessary, as you ensure that there is stronger coherence between the outer you and the authentic you. The duel between ’performance’ and ‘’truth’ getting underway.
Many shall experience this, not only in 2026 but in the years to come, as Neptune in Aries empowers people to reclaim agency over their own lives. But as the old order shakes on tottering feet, it shall use all its might to maintain itself, encouraging polarized thinking, identity conflicts and strong reactions. When we encounter this (as we already have) we have to examine our convictions and actions and beliefs. Are we mistaking the intensity we are being presented with, for the truth?
What is already unsteady will grow even more unstable until it is finally faced. Even though it shall fight, the old order shall eventually fall. Leadership shall be reshaped. New leaders shall emerge - those who are authentic, directed by a genuine purpose of service, and those who genuinely embody the values of the collective.
On a personal level, Neptune in Aries shall compel you to redefine your identity. By strongly dissolving the false identity you may be carrying. Stagnation, hypocrisy, confusion, empty idealization, lack of direction and purpose, impulsivity - all this, and more, shall be called out.
Helping and supporting Neptune in this catalytic shift, is Saturn in Aries. (Read Saturn in Aries here https://www.jadefirelight.com/post/the-age-we-are-entering-our-collective-turning-point-part-2-saturn-in-aries). Saturn conjuncts Neptune in Aries every 36 years (roughly), but each time they meet, humanity is vigorously pushed into a new consciousness in order to receive a fresh energy blueprint for humanity. Can you see now how wonderfully aligned the planets are with the crystalline activation that is ongoing in our world, aiding and supporting the crystalline energy as it carries a new consciousness, a higher frequency, and a natural alignment with soul-directed movements.
Historically, Saturn - Neptune periods coincide with the collapse of systems, exposure of false authority, and restructuring of belief systems. This is a time when humanity is forced to confront the difficult truth that good intentions are not enough if they are not integrated with supporting actions, and that actions without compassion are foundations for oppression.
Just as Jupiter in Cancer asks us to ‘grow up’, so do Neptune and Saturn. (Jupiter in Cancer https://www.jadefirelight.com/post/the-age-we-are-entering-our-collective-turning-point-part-1) We must become emotionally mature so that we can be spiritually responsible. Questions rise like:
· What do I stand for?
· What do I actually believe?
· Where have I been avoiding responsibility?
· What am I ready to begin?
· Am I living honestly, or ‘performing’ for others?
The Saturn-Neptune conjunction doesn’t change just the world. It changes who we are as individuals, what we believe in, how we are ready to act, and how disciplined we can be, so that the collective moves forward in alignment with the needs and purposes of all.
Uranus and Neptune, in their present transits, are working toward the same evolutionary outcome from opposite directions. Uranus is destabilising the very structure of all that we believed to be true. ( https://www.jadefirelight.com/post/the-age-we-are-entering-our-collective-turning-point-part-3-uranus-in-taurus ) Neptune is dissolving the ego that made those structures believable, that often breathed life into those structures. Uranus clears the external. Neptune cleanses the internal.
What remains is a state of awareness where reality can no longer be presented in some illusory form that is held together by control. The shared end-point is a shift in consciousness itself; Moving away from what we were told is true… and beginning to see and understand life for ourselves. Moving away from stories we inherited… and starting to live from what we directly experience and know within.
Uranus ensures the old world cannot stand. Neptune ensures it cannot be brought back into existence.
Neptune ultimately asks a simple but profound question: can you live your beliefs? Without resorting to rigidity and fanaticism, we have to stop dreaming and start doing, stop reacting and act consciously, stop ‘searching’ and live with purpose, knowing that there is no ‘perfect’ purpose, that doing what is empowering for you and others is the perfect purpose for that moment.
This is a cycle of awakening through action. Of spirituality lived, not merely talked of. And for each one of us, and the collective, it marks the beginning of living in alignment with the essence of our souls rather than the demands of the ego.
